The cell phone thread

I kinda want the orange one. It's 35 dollars though. Not sure I want to spend 35 dollars on something I basically already have (minus the color)

Just switched to the Iphone. Had the Samsung Eternity for 2 weeks and absolutely hated everything about it. Reception was terrible, all other people heard was static when I was talking to them, keyboard typed the wrong letters half the time. Didn't even really get in to any of the apps b/c I was so frustrated with the basic things the phone should do. I got mine from Wirefly as it was talked about a few pages ago so maybe that was it, or maybe I just got a bad phone, either way I switched to the iphone. I figure why not go with the iphone since everyone is trying to be "the next iphone". I'm pretty happy so far.

A heads up for iPhone users.....the "Vols Football" app has been updated for the upcoming season. It's a cool, free app.

awesome
thanks for the info, I'm downloading now

the more I use the Iphone, the more impressive it is

Still have the first version of the EnV. It's been the best phone i've ever had.

Those are great phones. I used mine for nearly 2 years. Changed to the BB Pearl about a week ago, it is ok. Still getting used to it. I love the email and internet. Texting takes getting used to. It is not as user friendly as a "normal" phone. I am getting used to it and beginning to really like it.

I used the opera mini for a little while, but went back to the bb browser when I updated my os.

btw, The new curve is pretty sweet....bold processor and wifi, gps, and bluetooth. No 3G though.

Yeah, T-Mobile is behind the curve with that one. That are starting to get 3G in major cities though. Everyone else will have 4G by the time T-Mobile has 3G across the country.

T-Mobile has been a big city provider since the beginning....

sorry in advance but I couldn't fine the "Post your phone thread" anywhere...

but I just got the Blackberry Bold and it's amazing. I've never been one to spend alot on a phone but so far, this was worth every penny. It's great for texting and internet. I'm fixing to try to use the GPS on it soon. Does anybody else have the Bold and what are your thoughts on it?

Does the VolNation mobile work ok on the Bold? I don't believe any one has ever confirmed to me if that phone works well with the mobile version.

My Krazr is starting to mess up, had it for awhile so it's time for a new phone I suppose. I like flip phones, but figure it is time to go for something easier with texting. Just wondering if anyone as the Alias2, Env3 or env touch? Thanks!

ENV3 I've heard is nice. If you are really addicted to VN though you should go with something with a data plan. Blackberry, Iphone, Palm, etc.

I don't get on VN outside of "work". :) I don't need a blackberry or anything like that since I don't get online or check emails/send emails, etc.
