After that tournament run at Wisconsin-Green Bay he was probably one of a few guys on the radar. The Deon Thomas stuff just kept him mid major for an inordinate amount of time.

Exactly. UT was taking a big risk on him the FIRST time he was hired. He had a checkered past even back then. There's no way they will or should take that risk a second time.
