Everything from both sides is opinion. Not saying it will happen, because I don't think it will, in fact I'm 95% sure it won't. You name valid reasons as to why he won't come back, but everything that has ever happened has had a first time. You don't know 100% that it won't happen.

And you don't know for a fact that Phil Jackson won't take the HC job, bringing on Bobby Knight and Doc Rivers as assistants with Lawrence Frank as the water boy...right?

Completely different. Fulmer let the program slip. Pearl was coming off an elite 8 season when everything started going down.

If Oregon had two losing seasons in a row and Chip Kelly was on the market, do you not think they should give him a call?

Dumb argument is dumb. I've never said anyone was or wasn't coming. You just have some insatiable need to be right, and can't let stuff go. You come into a Pearl thread griping that people are pro Pearl. Do you not see the stupidity in that?

Did chip receive a show cause?

The only like scenario is Kelvin Sampson, he has a similar resume as a Pearl, received a show cause and neither of his former schools have even thought about calling him.

When "there's a first time for everything" is pretty much the basis for an argument, it's mighty weak.

I also don't know 100% for a fact a plane won't crash on my house. But I'm extremely confidant it won't, and I'm a lot more sane than someone who spends their day worrying about it.

Seriously, I am all for rehiring Pearl, however I am all for getting anyone at this point, provided they have a proven track record and someone that can excite me. I get the fact that there are other coaches that can win besides Pearl.

I just don't know of many coaches we have a chance with who fit that bill, beyond Pearl.

What did you think that thread would accomplish? People gripe about all the Pearl threads, then make Pearl threads. Pearl is Fulmer at this point. BBF guys crack at the FF from being crazy, even though it's becoming the ff.

Isn't your first sentence kind of one in the same? Ftr it was a joke, hence the lol. The thread is a Bruce Pearl thread, I like Bruce so I'm here. The thread is in crazy town because of the anti Pearl guys, obsession with being right. I don't care about your sanity as it's fairly obvious that you argue for days to prove a point that can't be proven.

And yet still lumped into the anti-Pearl club, selective reading hoss? I liked Pearl as much as anyone, why some have so much trouble distinguishing the 2 is beyond me.

Not so much, I won't be arguing this point for the next month. You all get worked up over the Pro guys, and I get it when it's in other threads. I don't get the point of arguing it for days, they are not going to change their minds so why keep going?
