Would you be for Bruce Pearl's return if Martin is fired after next year?

If he does, he won't be bringing Bruce back. It's truly amazing to me how adults can comprehend this. It's so simple.....he's not coming back. I'm starting to wonder if some of these people stalk their ex-girlfriends... Let it go people.

And you guys please stop all the fronting like I didn't enjoy Bruce and what he did for the program. I did, it was quite enjoyable. But I also was disgusted at the end. You guys completely overlook how he sold those kids short. Some of you have no idea how difficult that last season was for those kids. Let's not forget the violation timeline ESPN showed 15 times per game and the embarrassment it cost the university. But I can see I'm pissing in the wind so carry on with the Bruce love.

And yes I fully expect and want Cuonzo gone.

I would think a sane fan doesnt want Bruce back, but they also realizes Cuonzo is wasting our time and needs to go back to coaching a smaller school.

UT needs a young coach, not someone close to retirement. I doubt Bird wants to start over at this point in his career. He just beat North Carolina. He has a good thing going at Belmont.

Age doesnt matter. I prefer more experienced coaches.

Not really. The coaching situation is different. Plus, basketball can flip from season to season. A poor team can change the roster and become great in a single season.

We need Bruce back. Unfortunately we will probably hire another bargain basement search committee coach. This athletic department needs to gain some goodwill with the fans. Bringing Bruce back would be a start.

From the Tennessee Volunteers basketball Wiki page:
"In his second year, Martin failed, to reach the NCAA tournament, officially putting Martin on the "hot seat". Martin's third year is looking promising but only time can tell. If Martin can't put together an NCAA team, it is widely known that Pearl can return as the coach for the 2014-15 season."

So, which one of you guys wrote this?

Wish they would blow CCM out now and hire Tony Jones as interim head coach and then hire CBP in August after show cause expires!!!!! But I do know that isn't going to happen.

Why not? Seriously, why? What rule is there that says they couldn't? Why watch him go some other small time basketball school and make them relevant like he did at UT when we could take him back?
