I watched him play 3 times and he looked good. 6'2 210lbsSomeone on another board mentioned Justin Lamson from Montana St. Brief look showed good stats and he's a runner, too. Oak Ridge kid I think I saw...okay, Oak Ridge, CA, but a sign is a sign, right? Plus, he's had stops at Syracuse and Stanford.![]()
And he probably won't cost an arm and a leg. His draw might be the opportunity to play on a big stage to showcase for the NFL. Might be grasping for straws, but unless Heupel has a secret master plan or someone jumps in late, we're looking to catch lightning in a bottle once again.I watched him play 3 times and he looked good. 6'2 210lbs
I like his 2025 stat line;
255/356 3,172 yds 26TD/3INT 168.9RTG
Rushing 734 yards and 14 touchdowns
He should have 1 yr of eligibility left. He played 2 seasons at Stanford before transferring to Montana St.
Not so much how far he can throw as his deep balls don’t look bad. He doesn’t have any zip on the ball for short to intermediate passes. Footwork looks less than average as well.I'm gonna say that arm strength argument is silly, dude's stats alone should get him in TN orange. He's basically the same size as Pavia and I don't remember Pavia chunking it 80 yards.
Seems like our biggest concern has been the deep balls, we have guys running wide open or at least a couple yards on the DB and we either overthrow it or throw it up from grabs.Not so much how far he can throw as his deep balls don’t look bad. Nico was about the $$$$, Nico's parents were about the $$$$, as told Nico's locker room was about Nico. Nico could have stayed and been an overpaid QB with an attitude.sounds workable. Either of the 3 qbs could leave after spring practice if they
don't like the spring results. Nico II.
Find the player that can throw in the middle of the field at mid range accurately. That is what Hooker was best at doing. Of course his long ball did not need any work.Seems like our biggest concern has been the deep balls, we have guys running wide open or at least a couple yards on the DB and we either overthrow it or throw it up from grabs.
yeah Dickens is by no means the only option and some of these other guys might be a better fit. I think we should be scouting all these guys.Someone on another board mentioned Justin Lamson from Montana St. Brief look showed good stats and he's a runner, too. We've been mentioning this guy in other threads, so forgive me for repeating myself, but... we haven't had a guy in years -- including Hendon -- who could hit 46 straight ON AIR, much less against a defense of any sort. I'm with you on this.Dickens is 5'11" and 180...and folks on here are up in arms sayin G Mac is too small. Wait until this guy shows up.
I like the stats, not from a production perspective, but to throw 46/46 in ANY game and to have that many TDs with only 2 INTs says A TON about his decision making.
Will that carry over to the system and the pressure of the SEC - worked out for Joey last year, but wouldn't mind finding out.
The fact that he's had stops at Syracuse and Stanford and ends up at Montana State must say something.Someone on another board mentioned Justin Lamson from Montana St. Brief look showed good stats and he's a runner, too.
