Don't know if anything said is true but IF Warrior swung his helmet at a teammate damaging his eye then a severe punishment is in order. Minimum season suspension plus anger counseling in my opinion.

I just talked to my son...I didn't know about Coach Harris. He's who recruited my son. His understanding is that he left for serious family issues. It was not unhappiness with the program. I don't know of any other coaches leaving. The spreadsheet issue just seems like poor planning. We were effected, but didn't think anything of it.

He didn't. No helmets were damaged in the clocking of Shy Tuttle.

I don't know if you know E-Willy, and I don't want to offend if you do. I would have benched him after the first scuffle three weeks ago, not to mention the repeated 15 yard penalties he's cost the team in EVERY game this season. He's super talented, and will be hard to replace, but he was an issue that had to be addressed somehow. I'm not the HC, and don't know all the details, so I'll leave it to him.

I don't know Williams personally. And I absolutely agree there needed to be some discipline involved with him. I don't know if kicking him off the team for an argument is the answer though.

Regardless, there are some issues with the program right now. Coach Harris leaving after 3 weeks is a red-flag. Pretty sure he had to take the fall for the player spreadsheet that the coaches accidently released on Huddle. That was/is a nightmare.

But best of luck to your son. MC can be a great place to play football.

There is nothing here to be proud of, especially from Warrior's perspective. This aint a comic book or bruce willis movie you imbeciles.

And it doesn't take a bad... to sucker-punch someone with a helmet and win a "fight".

And it doesn't take being soft to get suckerpunched with a helmet and get orbital damage.

If you have someone committing assault with a football helmet, you have someone that needs to be kicked off the team.

That was not the spreadsheet issue I heard about. You must know more than we do.

I really don't think the Coach Harris issue is anything other than personal issues....but I may be misinformed.

The suspensions and dismissals all needed to happen IMO. They over-recruit at this level. We brought in over 80 freshmen...and that's a small class for the league. Not everybody is going to have a place...and they figure that out pretty quickly. Attrition at D-III is massive.

Thanks...he loves it, and is playing a bigger role everyday. He already exceeded his personal goals for the year...time to write some new ones.

I look forward to talking to you about it as the season, and his career proceeds.
