Shy Tuttle injury

So some will believe what they read on the internet without any information about who the source was.

Unless those of you who say "it wasn't this" "it was that" were present at said event, you have to be relying on something someone told you.

Was that someone present? Did they see what happened? If they were not then they too are relying what a friend of a friend who knows someone said.

Too many times that things said on this board and in the media turned out to NOT be true.

I remember when Blackburn was a done deal. I remember when Fulmer was a done deal.

IF a player on the team took out my best defensive player... he DAMN SURE would be gone for a while. Dont believe Warrior did it and has gone without consequences. If that is the way Butch runs his show... I I wouldn't want to play for him either.

I'm pretty sure both guys were pissed. I'm also sure most likely neither intended to do long term damage to the other person but just intended to wipe the other guys ass. Haynesworth once ripped a metal fence post out of the ground and had to be restrained from going after someone. Tempers flare especially when a team is under pressure. Coaches look bad, players look bad. I'm not sure whether Butch has lost the team or not but I am sure that this team isn't focused right now like it should be.

Went back and read posts ... source is a booster friend who heard it from someone in the AD ... so information is from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend who probably heard it form someone else ...... and many believe without question.

Not saying I know anything, not saying there is no truth to anything - just that normally that method of sharing information results with things being changed and added.

LWSVOL has been wrong a few times... primarily about what was supposed to happen in the future.

But when he posts something as fact... it ALWAYS comes from a credible source. The guy has been around these boards a very long time. He knows people. He knows who to trust. It could be false... but if Larry is repeating it... then the source is a trustworthy source that isn't lying. They might be mistaken... but not misleading.

So to sum this thread up. Shy had an injury. Nobody really knows the truth. Instead of just letting it be, VN will continue taking pot shots at one another with each person thinkng they are right.

Sound about right?

Moral of this story is to not try and wipe another guys ass.

Many time fights and scuffles breakout in and around a football program. Ist of the time the teammates patch things up and move on. I've even seen them become good friends. This appears to be a pretty substantial injury. Could NW and ST be able to patch things up and put this behind them?

I don't know about all of it, but I've got to say I've been real pleased for my freshman. Coach Hayes has been good to his word on everything I've seen.

I don't know if you know E-Willy, and I don't want to offend if you do. I would have benched him after the first scuffle three weeks ago, not to mention the repeated 15 yard penalties he's cost the team in EVERY game this season. He's super talented, and will be hard to replace, but he was an issue that had to be addressed somehow. I'm not the HC, and don't know all the details, so I'll leave it to him.
Pausing to to appreciate the no-doubt-unintentional humor. :)

j/k (mostly) I'm glad your son is thriving at MC. :hi:

How stupid can you be though? Fight your own teammate and severely injury him???

:banghead2:(helmet)

Jones nailed it IMO. It's an emotional game played with High T. It's not something you ever want to see but it happens, a lot.

In this case I'm sure the statement by Jones had his current predicament in mind. The perception of losing control is one he doesn't want.

I'm new to the MC program...a program that seems to be doing fairly well and winning conference championships under this coach. He's done nothing over, let's say...the last 5 years, to make me doubt him. That's the difference in the scenarios you are trying to make light of.

But thanks for the well wishes for my son.
