He is also, perhaps, the most respected high school coach in the state. We desperately needed help with recruiting within the state post-Dooley. It would have been a very shrewd move for any incoming coach, but grider wouldn't have done it for just anyone.
You are defending something that didn't happen and sounds ridiculous to even suggest that it would happen. So stupid. I would have hired mater dei's coach because he's way more accomplished than Grider. He could have done a better job.
My point, you are so defensive about this made up scenario. In a perfect world your idea comes true and we win a national championship. In a different world, we hired a high school coach who doesn't do a great job and we don't recruit well considering Grudens never recruited before.
Care to argue another made up scenario that has no bearing on anything?
