You know that they do EVERYTHING different in California. I don't like or dislike soccer but I've got a young cousin whose mother is like my little sister that played soccer at Memphis (on scholarship) got his degree and then got a law degree at LSU so it really helped their family to get the monetary aid from his soccer playing. I don't like Memphis or LSU either one but they were great for my cousin. I think Burger is a lot like other people from the left coast, he's always right and he wants every body to do what he wants or likes no matter how crazy or stupid it might be. JMO FWIW

Man, lighten up, folks!

Burger likes to mock soccer. I like to mock men who order salads for dinner. It's all in good fun and no point getting the undies in a wad over it.

If his posts really irritate you so much, put him on ignore, but it seems to me the man is just trying to have a little fun in this off topic thread, and ya'll letting him know he's getting under your skin is probably adding to his fun.

You're correct. It's mostly in good fun. I don't like soccer, but I respect the people who play it. It's not like were talking about golf, which isn't a sport.

If everybody was like me, the world would be very boring. Boring sucks!

It was fun the first 15 times he did it. After that, it becomes about as fun as having a conversation with a smart-ass eight year-old.

By the way, I won't be watching 2 seconds of the world cup...and I'm just as sick of his crap as the soccer dudes.

Thankfully I don't need to lose weight. I do it sometimes just because I love being in great shape

C'mon guy. Now you want us golfers to react to that shot? You are talking about one of the most difficult sports I have ever attempted - and I played D-1 baseball and could have played D-1 football back in the day. For every Lumpy or Kevin Stadler there are 50 guys that are in excellent condition like Tiger and Adam Scott.
