I love cutting up and getting info on recruits. I don't really get excited until the fax is in. Then they are our guys and 5*s in my mind.

Two things to live by on VN:

1. Being right on VN is not gonna get you laid.

2. Have fun.

What do you think of Bradley in the #10 role? I'm not sure it's his best position. I'd like to see Bradley in the #6 and Mix in the #10, but Jones seems untouchable.

Beautiful give and go goal in match vs turkey!!!

Saw discussion on Bradley, I'm a fan of the facilitator/attacker hybrid role. He is an awesome player, love his killer mentality.

I think he's best at 6, but with the players we have he fits best at the 10... We don't have another great option there IMO... Plus he's out best playmaker.

Yeah, that game proved your point. My thoughts about the game is 1) Beasley is a better option at LB. Timmy is too prone to judgment lapses 2) Davis and Zusi seem like the same player. I'm not sure if that is good or bad. 3) I think in the World Cup Bradley will pull back a little bit give Jones more cover if teams are trying to attack us up the middle.

Davis is better going at people with the ball than Zusi, but Zusi plays better crosses in(like the beauty to green).

Timmy is terrible mentally but so talented physically. I don't like him or Beasley personally. They both scare me.

Jones often gets caught pushing up too far. I'd expect Bradley to cover as well depending on the Ghana result. If we can live with a tie against Portugal I expect him to play back more but if we don't get 3 points against Ghana he will have to push a lot.

Chandler at LB is silly. Altidore worked his ass off. Green is not ready at all for this level of competition. Guzan is a pimp. Jones is finally staying at home. Not sure about this diamond though.

I expect to be seeing a lot of "this message is hidden because Burger is on your ignore list."

Who ya got to win the whole thing? I think Argentina is finally gonna live up to their talent and take it. Brazil seems too young and inexperienced.

I'd like to see Germany win, but they'll choke. I'm thinking Argentina as well with Belgium being my long shot.

I spent a month last summer in Argentina. We drove by the national team's training grounds. It was really cool. Having spent a month there, and being a Barca fan, thus a Messi fan, I have to say that I would love to see Argentina take it all. Although, not as much as I would like to see the US win, which goes without saying.

Side note: I watched the UEFA final at a sports bar in Buenos Aires. It was a blast. We sat next to a photo and jersey signed by Messi - the photo was of him right there in that same bar. Total cool story bro.
