I spent a month last summer in Argentina. We drove by the national team's training grounds. It was really cool. Having spent a month there, and being a Barca fan, thus a Messi fan, I have to say that I would love to see Argentina take it all. Although, not as much as I would like to see the US win, which goes without saying.

Side note: I watched the UEFA final at a sports bar in Buenos Aires. It was a blast. We sat next to a photo and jersey signed by Messi - the photo was of him right there in that same bar. Total cool story bro.

That's awesome. I'm excited to see Messi on such a big stage. I feel like he hasn't played that well in World Cups compared to his league play. Although I do have extremely high expectations for him.

I wanted to play both. They wouldn't allow it, and I was a varsity starter as a freshman in soccer so that seemed more fun than riding pine and playing JV baseball

In California, thats when girls soccer is played. Soccer is a fall sport over here.

It's actually a serious question. We had our revolution because we hated their taxes and their sports. .

I agree. If he could match his league play, the world cup would definitely be Argentina's to lose. I would love to see some beautiful soccer from him this summer.

I'd like to see Germany win, but they'll choke. I'm thinking Argentina as well with Belgium being my long shot.

I will deff root for Germany (German ancestor here) once the US is no longer involved. I think they are probably too injured to win it though.

Went to a college prep HS. Didn't have football. Play soccer competively and you wouldn't call it an unmanly sport. I would have knocked you on your ass too many times for you to think that and I wasn't playing outside of the rules. I got knocked down often too.

I played city football for as long as I could. Loved football. Loved playing safety and being a head hunter.

Never gotten a broken bone before. I use to play tackle football without pads. I probably wouldn't get hurt. I'd love to take your money.
