I mean.... there's a bunch more specific incidents... most of them had riots that followed. Most of them did not result in the officer that murdered somebody facing jail time.
A woman was killed in jail by police after she ran a stop sign...
I'm not angry... I'm not saying all these dead people police shot didn't put themselves in a bad situation... but that is what the protests are about... duly make a note of that at your next "All these NFL players hate America" meeting.
Again, as has been said multiple times, each of these cases need to be looked at in a case by case basis. When you list them like that it is easy, especially when only one side of the story is given, to believe that there's this massive racial agenda by police to kill black people. Even though more white people are killed every year than black people that never gets talked about. Why? Why are the NFL players not protesting the deaths of white people by police?
Why is it that the media immediately run with a racist narrative before the facts are even out? Why is there all of this outrage before anything is even known? Why did Obama stir this up by taking the sides of the criminals rather than the police? Why is it that, way more times than not, when actual evidence and video surfaces, the cop is concluded to be in the right a la Michael Brown?
Clay Travis has squashed this by using actual statistics and facts to show that this narrative is not true. But people usually do not care about facts just the outrage. As has been said, are there a few bad cops out there? Absolutely. But to try and act like theres some massive killing of innocent black people by the police is fake news.
