If you look at the video clip in the post you quoted, it looks nothing like her in the picture you posted. The video shows no evidence of her looking beaten at all.

The picture you posted looks altered in comparison to the video of her getting her mugshot.

I think that I would lean toward the motion video (hard to photoshop) vs an isolated still photo (easy to photoshop).

I think there was a video showing how that picture was photoshopped.

No, that was photoshopped... I realize that now, but that was the photo that was posted in the article I originally read... my bad on that one... already said that... it was the first one that popped in my head.

That kid getting murdered execution style in the second link I posted wasn't photoshopped though... the police got a call that "there was a guy with a rifle in the window of a La Quinta"... he was shooting birds with a pellet gun... and the police responded to it like he was Rambo in the bell tower at Virginia College... I blame the sergeant getting his officers hyped up on that one... talk about responding at level 10 when a "what the hell are you doing, kid" would have sufficed... the officer charged was acquitted

The third one was an officer that grabbed a guy by the arm, tazed him, then shot him 8 times... said the guy was going for his tazer... tried to plant the tazer, then picked it back up... at least that cop got convicted of murder...

The fourth was a guy running from the cops after a reported car burglar in the area... they shot him 7 times in the back as soon as they turned the corner... they said that they saw something in his hand that resembled a gun, his cell phone... but you look at the body cam and there's no chance they saw anything but his body trying to hop a fence... pretty sure that case is still not done

Three completely unarmed people shot dead on film... for misdemeanors... (i assume shooting birds with a pellet gun out of a hotel window is a misdemeanor... I'm not even positive that's against the law)

I get y'all don't care... and I'm not going to convince you to... I haven't seen body cams on each of the 112 times it happened in 2017... it's a good bet at least a few of those didn't even commit a crime considering around 1/3 of criminal cases that go to trial result in an acquittal.

People have a right to be upset about it... I've been arrested twice, both times with charges I was completely innocent of... A cop arrested me because I had beer on my breath on my way home from a bar, after passing a sobriety test and blowing a .005 on his breath gage thing... what's worse is I didn't get out of it because the arrest was BS, I got out of it because the officer didn't have a right to pull me over. Then a girl I used to mess with in high school got in a fight with her sister at my house, I kicked both of them out and her sister dropped her back off later that night, I wouldn't let her back in the house so she called the cops and told them I beat her and raped her... cost me about $20,000 altogether to get out of both of them. God forbid I had trigger-happy officers show up those days and I didn't fully cooperate. Point being... Not everybody that has the cops called on them is a criminal.

I'm certainly not saying all cops are bloodthirsty racially motivated serial killers... There are tons of good policemen... I've met plenty in my day. I've also met some terrible ones trying to meet their quotas without doing any investigation whatsoever. Thank God I never met the ones in those videos on my bad days... I was just showing Bass that "Things that don't ever happen for $500, Alex" is an ignorant response to a valid point.

Going to bed guys... gnight :hi:

I’m sending Thai Navy SEALs for JJ. Should be done in under 17 days

You got testy last time “SEALs” were brought up, but now that we have this wonderful outcome I want to ask.

I thought only the US had SEALs? Are these Thai SEALs really the equivalent of US SEALs? They obviously did a remarkable job getting those boys out, and one unfortunately paid the ultimate price to make it happen.

The British have the SAS. Do other countries have SEALs?

I wouldn’t say I got testy. Another poster said they “aren’t real SEALs”. With no other fact than they were not Americans.

I simply said that I thought that was uncalled for, and I stand by that statement

Yes. That was me. Hence my follow up questions.

Didn’t mean to offend. In hindsight, not a good look on my part.

I had just never heard of SEALs from anywhere but the US.

I looked them up. The Thai Navy is the only other country in the world with SEAL teams. They actually train with US SEAL teams too.

To be honest, I’m not sure what other nations have. However given the friendly relations between the Thai military and the US military, with a US military base being on Thai soil still, it would not surprise me if there are joint exercises that take place from time to time, and I also would not be surprised if Thai SEAL training also had its basis from the American system as well.

It's doubtful that they get the training that US SEALs get; that is not a slam on the Thai SEALs, who just proved they are very well trained, at least in the art of extreme rescue operations in really, really harsh conditions. But few special forces units worldwide get the training US SEALs get; Maybe Delta, the British SAS and SBS, Russia's Alpha unit, and the Israeli's have a very well trained elite sf unit. I doubt there are any other nations who have elite units with that level of training, but that are still very well trained units who perform very well at certain specialized tasks.

Delta is a Tier 1 Special Mission Unit. They are much more heavily trained than your standard SEAL team.

They are the US Army’s counterpart to the US Navy’s Tier 1 SMU: DEVGRU (Seal Team Six).

Delta & DEVGRU are the 2 most elite units in the US Armed Forces. They both roll up under the command of JSOC.

Delta & DEVGRU are also the primary units that feed the CIA’s SAD SOG teams (clandestine operations).

They’re the best of the best of the best. Badass MF’ers.

Plus each of those units have their "Alpha" teams. It's my understanding that Delta or CAG (Combined Arms Group) as I believe it is known now has highly specialized teams for each mission set and specializes in snatch and grab/hostage rescue missions.

American Navy SEALs are also great but again the elite of that outfit is DEVGRU formerly known as SEAL Team 6 (The elite of the elite).

Also, I believe the Thai SEALS are considered one of the best units in the world of course that is to say their "A team" is.

The Thai's are very disciplined Soldiers. You'd be amazed at their strength to carry such heavy rucks for such little guys. Their ability to stalk and ambush. They don't receive their overall specialized training that Detla guys receive, but they are excellent at what they do.

I don't think Delta has ever been specifically the Army's. The Green Berets are Army's sf. When it was established, Delta was under control of the DoD, but was eventually put under control of JSOC, along with other sf units. And yes, it is probably the most elite sf unit in the world. I did see an interview with an SAS operator a couple of years ago who admitted he thought Delta was better than the SAS now, but he said that was because of the advanced technology that Delta has available to them.

SAS was tops for many, many years but like someone said, I don't think they are anymore. I don't think their is any question though that Delta, DEVGRU, and British SAS are still the top. The German GSG-9 is also top tier elite but they are not military unit. They might as well be though for how well they stack up.

👍. Back border of property according to pics. I’ve not been thru there in a few weeks and am just assuming it’s the tract of land that I have in mind. Could be swamp land for all I know based of those aerial pics on Zillow.

There is a 20 acre lot by the Clinch river just below Norris dam I have my eye on. It has a house on it but nothing special. Anybody want to help me buy it hit me up!

That home doesn't look 5000 sqft.

They are probably counting the basement. Again don't care much about the house. That is a great, huge piece of land that close to my favorite trout waters. Im thinking of offering a low ball amount if it stays on the market a while.
