Which 5x5 program are you using? I switched from StrongLifts to ICF and I like it a lot more. It has a little more accessories so it takes longer, but it's a little more even between Upper/Lower work

It's called the 1+1 skinny guy strength program actually. Been at it about a month and have gone from 6'3 153 to 163. (I'm that ugly skinny fat) I am taking creatine and protein powder with fish oil and a multi vitamin. I've done everything from home

I do a PPL program with a pretty good amount of cardio and a somewhat maintained diet. I haven't quiet made it yet, but I'm looking alright. Picture from last week when I was on the lake with my little sister.

Looks good man keep it up. I've got a long times work to get to where you are

MMA training? That'd be cool but I feel like I'd have to eat ~5000 calories a day to do that. I imagine that's tons of cardio.

I've trained Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 9 years. Not an exact science but an hour class which should include 20 minutes or so of sparring should burn around 1200 or more calories. Most guys stay and spar after classes as well. Burn more. Great workout

FWIW, the KSO has not sounded this good in years. New Music Director/Condictor Aram Demirjian is excellent - energetic and on point. Very well spoken and comfortable with the crowd. The orchestra is very focused and precise, unlike the past couple of years. Very moving tributes. Pat's will be up soon.

Hey...don't sell yourself short. You're not just a "bit" of a pansy...sewing boy! :)

I'll bet you have a secret stash of crochet hooks under your bed next to your naughty magazines (Good Housekeeping).

I made a lot of money sewing buttons and patches on in basic training.

My best friend in the AF did the same at my first station...it's a good skill.

I made extra cash sewing in the Marine Corps. Nothing fancy, just repair work. Good skill to have. Also made extra money tying peoples ties for them. Everyone could tie a half windsor, very few could grasp the concept of a full windsor, which is a much better looking way to tie a tie. So I did everyones for $1 each.

double windsor for the win, the key is where you start

I used to tie a full Windsor but I am a bigger man now so if I do a full now the tie resembles a bow tie.

I can understand the half windsor for a bigger guy. The full does use a few extra inches of tie.

That straight edge across the top of the tie with a full windsor......sets a man apart IMO.

I don't wear ties often so I have to re-learn the double Windsor every time.
