My daughter has been doing dance competitions since she was four. I am very thankful her teacher is conservative when it comes to costumes. They always have to wear tights. Some of the stuff that some of these very young girls (not to mention the older ones) trot out there on stage in is embarrassing. If I see one of those costumes, I pay a lot of attention to my phone or I just get up and walk out. Blatantly inappropriate. @VolsDoc81TX can probably attest to this.

One more reason to add to the long list of reasons why I won't let my daughter be in dance or cheering or beauty pageants. Not insinuating you're a bad parent for letting her dance...Im explicitly saying it.

Haha jk, I'm sure there are benefits to it, but my sister had some horrible social and psychological experiences in dance/cheer, what goes on off stage is a thousand times worse than skimpy outfits on stage.

Awesome. I did that trip (San Fran to Yosemite) in the fall to recreate a trip I took during spring break while on Student Exchange from Tennessee at Chico State Univ. Now the wife insists on going back to climb Half Dome. Not sure I'm up for that. But I'll definitely be back. So beautiful and the Astronomy Show in the dark was amazing.

When were you there? We were there the first day of Oct..I hate that we only got the one full day in the valley, and the next morning we drove east over Tioga Pass to Mono Lake, stopping at a ton of iconic spots on the way. So we basically had a day and a half.

I was only slightly ashamed because I've added a few geo quizzes to my daily regimen and I had literally just done that region yesterday. The worldle pressure is real

Fwiw for anyone interested, they have country quizzes for every region (and more). Only took a few days to get them all down pat except the carribs and oceania...still working on those...but now have Africa and the rest nailed down, which I couldn't say a week ago...used to struggle with southeast Europe and southeast Asia as well...these are helpful, only take a couple minutes each.

Don’t really understand this hire with the experience he has especially with recruiting so important. Thought we would go another direction, I think other guys on here that know who we was after and said it wasn’t Pope all along. Anyway hope he does great for the vols. Recruiting is very important in the sec I just want the best and win.

I hate agreeing with you, but I do. Teams have been shifting since Ted Williams, at least. The new rule, I hate, is a runner starting on 2nd, in extra innings. That ruins all the perfect numerology in baseball thru all the eras of baseball

I get what you are saying and there is some drama, for sure. But, for the most part, my daughter has been dancing with pretty much the same girls since she was 3 and they are all still pretty good friends. Now, if you want to bring the dance moms into, there, the drama reigns supreme. My sweet goodness, the claws come out. That horrible TV show was not that far off, sadly.

So when Domestic Oil production was wide open and we were able to produce our own energy gas prices were $1.80- $2.20 range. Now we are at the mercy of people who hate us and gas is around $4. BUT, producing our own energy will have NO effect on Oil and Gas prices. Got it. Thanks for enlightening us.

Yeah...about that.. Honestly...this doesn't affect upper middle class people so much as just being aggravated that they have less discretionary funds to blow on gambling, drinking and luxury lodging.

This is grounding me from travel. Once gas gets over 4.75-5.00 I will be having to draw from my savings to pay monthly bills.

Yeah, that post should have been blue. This affects the lower incomes more than any. When fuel cost rises this much it will significantly increase prices of everything you buy.
