One more reason to add to the long list of reasons why I won't let my daughter be in dance or cheering or beauty pageants. Not insinuating you're a bad parent for letting her dance...Im explicitly saying it.My daughter has been doing dance competitions since she was four. I am very thankful her teacher is conservative when it comes to costumes. They always have to wear tights. Some of the stuff that some of these very young girls (not to mention the older ones) trot out there on stage in is embarrassing. If I see one of those costumes, I pay a lot of attention to my phone or I just get up and walk out. Blatantly inappropriate. @VolsDoc81TX can probably attest to this.
Haha jk, I'm sure there are benefits to it, but my sister had some horrible social and psychological experiences in dance/cheer, what goes on off stage is a thousand times worse than skimpy outfits on stage.
