You do know that Gonzaga has played 7 of these top 25 teams, with 9 games total (2 against Saint marys and 2 against USF). They will play USF again tonight and likely Saint Mary's tomorrow night to lead them to 11 games total against Ken Pom top 25 teams ( of which they are currently 7-3). Stop with the light schedule bull. It just shows you don't watch or understand college basketball enough.

Eh, Saint Mary’s, SF, and Gonzaga have all propped each other up a bit, but Gonzaga clearly has the more superior talent. I will give you that the WCC is better this year. But Gonzaga has played 13 Quad 4 games while we have played 6. Gonzaga’s SOS is 110 on KenPom, which, aside from Murray State, is the worst in the top 39. Facts are that it’s the easiest schedule among the top teams.

I can’t roll my eyes far enough for spring practice reports. Like the NFL draft for me.. .

I was only slightly ashamed because I've added a few geo quizzes to my daily regimen and I had literally just done that region yesterday. The worldle pressure is real

Fwiw for anyone interested, they have country quizzes for every region (and more). Only took a few days to get them all down pat except the carribs and oceania...still working on those...but now have Africa and the rest nailed down, which I couldn't say a week ago...used to struggle with southeast Europe and southeast Asia as well...these are helpful, only take a couple minutes each.

Why is it Stupid? I like all those changes. Shifts suck.

Wonder how baseball made it thru 100+ years to get to this point.

Metrics have managers going with the odds and incorporating the shifts. Used to be, batters adjusted and went the other way. But today, if batters learned to go the other way, it would likely affect their power and therefore the slugging percentage. We can’t have that can we. Today’s players are all about the numbers. Funny thing is…their batting averages would go up. However, HRs and RBIs would likely go down. [Many of today’s players are prima donnas. It’s mostly about the power metrics.]

Making the bases bigger is a safety thing. Cannot fathom the previous 100+ years of being able to play the game with the existing bases. What were they thinking?

Today’s games (not just baseball) are all televised. Speeding up games is being driven be 1) television, and 2) fans that hate how long it takes to get thru 9 innings. Understandable. Maybe TV should do their part to speed up the games by shortening the number and length of the commercials. Just a thought.

I practically lived for baseball growing up. Both my boys were heavy into baseball. After all, it is America’s pastime. That leads me to my position on these changes. Personally, I dislike the banning of the shift. It is part of the often unrecognized strategy part of the game. I have no problem with the other two changes as long as the batter cannot affect the pitch clock.

Take away shifts and Freeman’s average goes up 15 points. I know he likes the left field gap but his bullets to right-center are “MONEY”.

Come on Braves, don’t be stupid. He is good (Hall of Farmer) every-day player for 4-5 more years and DH the 6th. Get it done when available.

I hate agreeing with you, but I do. Teams have been shifting since Ted Williams, at least. The new rule, I hate, is a runner starting on 2nd, in extra innings. That ruins all the perfect numerology in baseball thru all the eras of baseball

That rule is the awfullest of awful new baseball rules. So incredibly stupid.

Not a fan. The tournaments she plays in require shorts and a tank top minimum. No bikinis or bikini bottoms. Honestly, perving older men are the biggest problem at most of the tournaments. If you play in women's tournaments, most of those ladies aren't afraid to let it all hang out.

My daughter has been doing dance competitions since she was four. I am very thankful her teacher is conservative when it comes to costumes. They always have to wear tights. Some of the stuff that some of these very young girls (not to mention the older ones) trot out there on stage in is embarrassing. If I see one of those costumes, I pay a lot of attention to my phone or I just get up and walk out. Blatantly inappropriate. @VolsDoc81TX can probably attest to this.
