He’s likely going to A&M

I don't feel sorry for him in the least. Think Temple. Also, pretty much every coaching change is rumored and publicized before it happens, and thus players deal with the uncertainty.
I don’t think the two compare. First, do we know the conversations that occurred between Diaz and the Temple, after all Miami is obviously a massive step up. I do agree it’s a bad look what Diaz did, but what Miami did was downright awful, maybe the worst I’ve ever seen. And yes he’s a rich coach, but he’s a person, and more importantly those kids are people and what kind of example is that to them? How to treat others.,.

I don't mean it to be. I honestly don't see anything wrong with what the QB did because looking at it from a defender's perspective I would've walloped him. It's simply not enough for me to bite on a slide. I've seen fair catch calls that are far more egregious. Maybe it's different if you watched the whole game and got caught up in it being a game changer but I was watching the boring B1G game instead. Taken alone I just don't see anything that 1. causes me to slow down. 2. looks particularly duplicitous. The defenders just got fooled. It happens. Football is a game of strategy and deception is very much a part of it.

A defender, imho, can never be afraid to lay a hit just like you can't be afraid to throw a hard block in basketball, hockey, and other sports. If they are then they need to hang it up because they'll never be a great defender worrying about fouls, penalties, or what the refs might do. The only thing a defender needs to worry about is doing their job. Make the decision and live with the consequences. Yeah, every now and then you'll screw up or you'll get called unfairly but if you trust your instincts and play clean but hard that won't happen very often. If a player fools you it's not their fault. You learn from it and move on.
If you’re Jeremy banks, you’re always afraid to lay a lick nowadays

It's a split second decision----not a chance in hell----just level the QB, with a late hit, during the next series and that problem would be solved

I mean that's exactly what I would've done except I'd have levelled him during that one as I don't see enough cause to slow down. See my post above this one. :)

I just can't...this is dumb...I am not calling you dumb, but this is a really dumb take. Literally every freakin body not a Pitt fan knows and understands why that was egregiously dishonorable. If he slides late and the Wake kid hits him, he is probably ejected for targeting...we have seen that happen many times over the years.

I don't want to to about it anymore, and I don't want to offend you...I just completely utterly disagree with you.

It makes me laugh that some people truly believe we can get just whoever we want. We're not there...yet. We still have a bit of work to get there.

And TAMU is handing out big wads of cash. How else is a team that went 4-4 in the conference just killing it in recruiting? Sure, they upset Bama, but they also lost to LSU and both Mississippi schools.
