Unless it’s immediate family getting married, you don’t go.So the wife says I have to go to a wedding Saturday night. They will have sports on but I would rather sit on my own couch, suggestions on how to get out of this? I’m not ruling out divorce.
At the very least I’m setting expectations that I won’t be sociable with anyone not watching the game and she should expect to mingle on her own.
If she says you HAVE to go she already owns your butt.So the wife says I have to go to a wedding Saturday night. They will have sports on but I would rather sit on my own couch, suggestions on how to get out of this? I’m not ruling out divorce.

Come on man, put your big boy britches on and play the man card....."Come on Honey, I don't want to go, I don't feel good, Please".....groveling should be part of it also....Thank me later !So the wife says I have to go to a wedding Saturday night. Sit down with you phone out and watch the game. Other people will flock to you to watch the game. This will eventually lead to others pulling out their phone to watch the same game. Your group will be ignored and you can watch the game in peace. So the wife says I have to go to a wedding Saturday night. We were discussing it in reference not UT football but even then I would prefer the human element…..it’s ok if you don’t.Players getting screwed over isn't good drama. It's crap. See: UT vs Bama 2019.
The human element that makes sports enjoyable should be their own mistakes and glorious plays, not the refs interjecting.
I mean if "human" umpire/ref mistakes are good, then...we should want more? Hard pass.

Bump…anyone? @BruinVol, I know you know where to find who the money is being bet on.Question for those who gamble… Can someone check and see who most of the money is being bet on in our game? I’m wondering if it still is Ole Miss, and I’m asking, because I just noticed that the line dropped from -3 to -2 1/2 today.
Yeah my wife wants me to go get a dryer Saturday night. I told her we have trees we can hang clothes on, Vols are playing. She asked what is more important dry clothes or Vols game. Everyone knows the answer to that.So the wife says I have to go to a wedding Saturday night. They will have sports on but I would rather sit on my own couch, suggestions on how to get out of this? I had to make plays up in the dirt because his offense was so simplistic.
