Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Deer ran into my truck two months ago. $3500 damage. Fixed it. Two weeks after getting it back, a Georgia cop ran into same truck and totaled it.
Man, maybe I should stop feeling sorry for myself lol.

Deer hit my G8 did $2500 in damage.

Then hit my Acura (320,000 miles work car) I pulled the dent out of the door, kryloned the fender. Then another deer hit the front. Replaced both headlights and grille, several brackets. Then another deer took out the grille again. Replaced it this past Saturday and a possum (hope it wasn’t your family @TN-POSSUM ) hit the bumper and cracked the driving light and knocked the bumper loose again. Literally 4 days after I fixed it

I was about 22 years old and decided I wanted a car I couldn't afford. A Mercedes c260 or something like that. The dealer wanted me to test-drive it and said I could drive it home to let my dad inspect it. I was on Sevierville Pike, about 2 miles before Valley Grove Church when a deer jumped in front of me. I missed it, but a split second later another deer fired itself out of a ditch into the road and I clipped it. . . had a little hair in the grill, but got lucky it didn't damage the car.

A couple guys in a beat up 92ish chevy cavalier stopped, got a pistol from under the seat, whacked the deer, strapped it to the trunk and drove off. This all happened in about 90 seconds, 😂.

I turned around and returned the car immediately.
Haha definite sign to not buy the car

It does when he is in the process of fielding it which he was. If not fielding it he can't.
If it offers no more clarification than that, and even if it doesn't, I agree with you that it is an awful rule.

Still, in my opinion, that does not excuse anyone interpreting that play as the catcher making as much effort to field the ball as he did to block the plate while also judging that the baserunner's attempt to reach the plate was malicious. All of that was a judgment call, not an observation of facts on the part of the officials. Thus they can't just hide behind a bad rule. They earned whatever maligning they receive.
But admittedly, I don't know baseball. I just despise bad governance and officiating in sports in general.
