Why not let it play out? Get off of the ledge... with such a large 2016-17 freshman class many 2017 recruits might fear little available playing time. Barnes should focus on development of the current roster. Later on worry about the 2018 and especially 2019 signing classes.
It's clear other schools aren't waiting until they fail miserably to offer other recruits. Massive fail by just now offering guys when they clearly know they are leftovers
Exactly it's only two scholarships. 2 spots we should have been able to cherry pick whom we wanted in the 50-100 ranked range. Massive fail that will only get worse when stokes is a no
Again, why would highly rated recruits want to mess with this dumpster fire? Coaching up the current roster is the best way to attract better players. Returning to the NCAAT on a regular basis is far more important than chasing 2017 guys and begging them to come here. Half the 2016-17 team is new faces. I'm going to wait and see if they are well coached. The 2015-16 team was well coached. At least the players that were given the minutes were well coached and the others quit.
Lol
They have better freaking coaching. That's what they have

Recovering from a compound fracture of his leg during a game in February.Vols just offered Sterling Manley, 6'10" 230lbs, biggest offers from Xavier, West Virginia, Pittsburgh...UNC coaches were in to see him this past week.
Recovering from a compound fracture of his leg during a game in February.
At 6-foot-10 with a wingspan estimated to be over seven feet in length, Manley is a massive prospect with an intriguing skill set. Having the ability to extend the floor and knock down mid-range jump shots, Manley is equally equipped in the post, with a soft touch inside while remaining a dominant rebounder and shot blocker.
Manley averaged 12 points, 7.4 rebounds and three blocks per game last season, earning second team All-OCC honors. A force to be reckoned with while on the floor last season, Manley helped Pickerington Central knock off eventual state champion Westerville South on Jan. 23.
OK (Orange-tinted glasses on), Stokes told us he's coming, but wants to take his visits. Coach thinks he's gonna be so good, no reason to take another big, unless he's exactly what we are looking for. Decides to pass on Victor. Holding the scholly for someone else, either later this year or next...
