Saying Pruitt doesn’t care or doesn’t respect football is silly. Suggesting that Pruitt is only interested in money is silly. Suggesting his love for Alabama is hindering his effort is even sillier. The truth is simply that he got exposed as a coordinator that doesn’t have the minerals to sit in the captain’s chair. That is gamble you make when you hire a head coach with no previous experience. A gamble that UT lost. I don’t know what direction the program will go from here, but the heart of the fan base died today. I believe we have finally entered the acceptance stage of the grieving process that started the night Kiffin left. It’s just a sad day to be a Tennessee Vol.

But there must come a time when SEC players on scholarship at Tennessee take individual responsibility for their own preparation and performances in games. A bunch of whiners looking to transfer because their feelings get hurt and can't show up and whip some Georgia State OL.....

But, this is just 1 game out of 12--it doesn't have to ruin the whole season.

We'll see who really wants to play next Saturday night after having to live with this national humiliation for a week.

The problem is Pruitt hasn’t shown that he’s a good head coach yet. When you lose a game like this it all falls on the coaching staff. They didn’t have the players prepared and the in-game coaching was laughable at best. Sure, the players didn’t play well, but that’s on the coaches to put them in a position to succeed and they failed miserably at that.

Yup...I believe this sums it up pretty well.
It's looney to think Pruitt somehow hates Tennessee so badly that he would take the HC job to destroy the program and somehow protect Alabama from Big Orange wrath !!!. REALLY..???? That's simply hilarious in it's concept. Then there's folks saying he's only marking time until Saban retires when he will jump on the Bama HC job. Well, if THAT's what you believe you have to explain how leading a total dumpster fire program is gonna get him THE PLUM JOB in the country. Fact is...if Pruitt, or anyone else wants to even be considered for the Bama job, the BEST way to do it will be to take the Vols from the cellar of the SEC and bring them back to being a team that Bama LOSES TO on a regular basis. THAT will be the coach who gets the call from Tuscaloosa.
No friends...I'm afraid what we're seeing is evidence that Pruitt is simply not up to the HC job, and sadly...UT has GUARANTEED him so much money that he'll just hang out and collect.

Pruitt seems like a coach that would have gone in the locker room after the game and said “good job boys, you played hard, we’ll get ‘em next week. Enjoy your weekend”

Oh. I almost forgot. We even had Dave Doeren lined up to coach here. I'd take his 9 win seasons at NC State over Pruitt any day.

I’d take anyone right now who would show more energy and fire than what we have at the moment. The teams energy is a reflection of the HC which is sloth-like

First of all, if you offered me 4 million to go ruin Bama, press conference would be now. Yeah it sounds crazy but the truth is we are reaching depths nobody other than some lunatic rival fan could conceive or dream of.

Here's the steps we are taking immediately to produce better results on the field.

Or, admit that he doesn't know what the hell he is doing and he only took the job because Tennessee shoved millions in his face and basically begged him to be our HC to end the most embarrassing coaching search of all time.
