Pruitt no show on the Jeremy Pruitt Show

Okay my last post on this stupid crap, he is doing the shows. Now some that don't like him being down and agitated after shows want to make him act like he likes it. TOUGH TITTY! I want a coach that isn't happy about losing, Majors had a few in his day where he was pissed, he is doing the show so folks that don't like his demeanor after a loss are now crying about how he does it. If you don't like it don't watch, I want a football coach not a camera happy attention seeking hyper bowl smiling type just to give a few of you the warm and fuzzies. GBO!!!!!!

Quit crying, I know Butch Jones probably put on a better tv show, but I’d prefer the coach who cares more about his football team and how they perform then damn commercials or a stupid tv show.

Actually, I didn't like Butch's show. A lot of BS and excuses. Pruitt's show was a breath of fresh air in terms of honesty and insightful analysis at first, even though he showed no personality or engagement. Lately, and especially this week, it seems like he just doesn't care and doesn't want to be here any more. Hopefully it's an act and he's not projecting that attitude on his players and staff.

The ship sailed on the show back in the 90's. With so many media platforms nowadays who is actually watching it? For God's sake the man has a life and doing this long past it's expiration date of a show should not be high on the list. He does interviews after the game and during the week. What's the point of the show anymore? Zero!

Well, neither Saban nor Belichick seem all that interested in press conferences. But, their fan bases do not seem to care too much about that.

I am starting to not like Pruitt's attitude about his show.

His recalcitrant, zombie-like non-presence is getting old. It's disrespectful to his host, the organization, and fans.

Yeah, I get it. He doesn't like doing it. He doesn't like Kessler Kessling. He'd rather be watching film or scheming.

Well, tough s**t. It's part of the job. He got paid more this year than most fans make in a lifetime to do the job.

He has set high standards and expectations for his players to execute at a certain level. He needs to man up and do the same.
I could care less about the show. All i want is for Pruitt to get my football team back at the top of the SEC. If your at top of the SEC then you are at the top in the National poll also. Could care less about his show with Kessling.

Or you can look at the thread with link to Jeremy Pruitt show for Missouri game...looks like he’s there to me... who cares if he cares

Why would anyone waste their life watching a coaches show? what is ever learned from it? Its not entertaining, especially after a beat down what is there to say about this team that hasnt already been said or known by some other means of communication.

I think he's correct to not waste his time on it when there are way more important things he could be doing with his time.

Recruiting more OL player is just one I thought of, I dont know.

The best part of this entire thread is the reemergence of "tough titty"! What a classic- haven't thought of that since the 7th grade. Be honest, any guy on here says "tough titty" to themselves, and I guarantee you'll remember some hottie from Junior High lol.

You remind me of the guy who complains about his wife’s attitude during sex even though she’s exhausted from chasing kids every day, cleans the house, packs his lunch, and cooks his dinner.

Pruitt complained about his wife’s attitude on his TV show?

I'd be downbeat if not outright embarrassed to do these shows if I were Pruitt as well.

Not much can be said to defend a 50-17 home loss on senior day. Especially a senior day where someone decided to not let the seniors be acknowledged individually.

If Pruitt feels his time is more valuable scheming or doing other team related activities then I'm all for it. I think he's done a good job so far with the train wreck he inherited

Does anyone still watch coach's shows any more. They are garbage. Go back to the way Ol Johnny did em. He and John Ward sat at the desk and played a tape of the game while Johnny screamed at his players and complained, bragged, berated and/or praised his players on what they did on the field. Then at the end, they showed the Vols' big plays, talked to a few players and set up next week.
