Leach has a lot of winnable games on the back end of the schedule and his team is playing people a lot closer than we are. There's a good chance that he will finish with a better record and this conversation will go on all off season.

He's won 11 games in a season in each of his two head coaching jobs, the best in school history for both schools. James Franklin won 9 at a similar school and was hired by Penn State as fast as they could get their checkbook out.

That’s great, but I just don’t think he’ll ever win big. I think he and his system have a ceiling, and I don’t think long term that ceiling is high enough for us to be happy with the results.

In all fairness I think this is the most accurate...but I have been cussin him all day lol...we won’t win u less we go get a kiffin or freeze. Winning cost...there’s money and risks 2 things we’ve proved not ready to do

Dooley inherited crap from Kiffin, Jones inherited crap from Dooley. Pruitt doesn't have any more of an excuse than those 2 guys did.

Pruitt sucks - period, end of story! The whole of UT media is carrying water for him. He is in way over his head. It is and was Pruitt' decision to play JG - it has been his damn decision since day one. Pruitt will be fired within 16 months; he is horrible. Pruitt actually said that Tennessee is closing the gap with Alabama - what the hell was he watching???

Bama ran a damn base defense vs JG - no blitzes, no stunts, no nothing! Saban wants Pruitt here for 10 years because he knows Pruitt sucks!

You simply cannot hire a life long bammer to be coach at the university of Tennessee. He simply doesn’t give a damn if we win or lose. He is just collecting a check and a good one at that

I've been thinking about this, I want Hugh Freeze. Yeah the scandal was embarrassing to Ole Miss but he won a Sugar Bowl and beat Alabama, two things we have not done in quite some time.

Based on some of the replies in this thread, so many fans are just conditioned to accept the mediocre garbage this football team trots out time and time again. It’s just sad and depressing at this point.

You would think we were Vandy or UK with the way some people accept this garbage.

With the money he has made from TN if invested and saved correctly he should be only coaching now as a hobby.

Then by all means tell us who is. Point us to the HC that is the answer for a program when said coach only has maybe 3 years.

How can JG, Maurer and Shrout all not be ready to play unless you point the finger at coaching? Seriously..3 guys who have been here over a year and only JG sort of knows the offense?
