The staff has to be more in tune with potential losses. I dont know how you marshall that, other than a GM.

You cant tell me every team is losing players, starters at this pace. And if you do, you sure as **** wont make the case they arent replacing them at a greater clip.

I dont understand the lack of urgency. I mean is Huepel just delegating and expecting Spyre to do the recruiting?

West Virginia lost over 20 players in a 3 day stretch. Plus they lost close to 20 in December, they will have a brand new roster in August.

Bussell, Johnson, Duncan, Charles, Thomas, and Slaughter. That’s who we lost this spring so far. Nico was a swap with Aguilar.

So, if the previous poster was correct with the 76 number, then we had 82 on the roster this spring with 83 as the number. We had a big number that enrolled early in this class. We couldn’t add much in the fall portal window but now we can add some guys.

Relax,...let em work. I'm not aware of any urgency concerns by the staff. It's a fluid process, we're okay.

Big weekend. Two WRs and multiple DL. Wish we’d get Patterson in regardless of what Jakobe does, but if we can fortify the DL (honestly I’d take two if we could get a one year rental and a multi-year guy) with another experienced body and add a 4th WR who’s played college football before (and I think both of these guys are talented, too) our roster will be much improved.

If we get Jakobe back we’ve lost nobody of real value other than Charles who’d have been a 4th S (which isn’t nothing, but…) and the potential of a step up from Nico.

How many starters have we really lost though? Nico and Squirrel the only ones I can think of.

Everyone else were backups and none was in line to start this year except maybe one of the safeties (Jakobe or Charles).

We have some depth issues at several positions but only position we could use a starter would safety or WR.
