And that somehow takes away from us doing it to them as well? See when you and others post this crap it screams its only fair if the vols do it and not them. So you see how stupid it looks?
Yeh - if someone did it to me 28 times - I might have one or two of my guys do the same thing - once I realized what was going on - clearly it was intentional and by design and no one is going to call it or do anything about it.

I hope this is dealt with in off season NCAA rule changes. What are the ACTUAL rules that should be implemented? This fake injury and strategy of leveraging mercy is making a mockery of the game ... and has been for years. Look at the disdain for soccer players and their fake injury.

Here's my rule change: Any defensive player (non punt) whose injury stops the flow of a game should remain in the loving care and compassion of medical experts for the remainder of the current qtr, and the next qtr as well, even if next qtr continues into next game. You can never be too safe w played health, right?

Unless its YOUR player. Realistically... Sit out the rest of that series or possession changes, OR for a specific amount of time like Hockey does. 5 Mins/10 mins, whatever. A full quarter is a little over the top, IMO.

I don't know I was at work and only got to watch bits and pieces of the game. But again if we both are doing it why cry over the exact same thing that we did to them? It's just stupid to do so
It’s funny that you’re commenting on this and yet you didn’t watch the game. Ole Miss absolutely effected the flow of our offense with this crap.

Just because you are being obtuse doesn't mean it's not true, Scooter. We did nothing to intentionally slow a drive; we avoided a penalty. Before you call someone out, you may want to proof your work. Here are a few I found.

A) you left out a comma in the first sentence after your dependent clause to begin a complex sentence; B) you left out a comma before the noun in direct address in your second sentence; C) there are several proper nouns that should be capitalized; D) you ended an imperative sentence with a question mark; and E) your first sentence.....well, I corrected it for you.

It's ok, I pointed out your errors in red. Be better!
I mean the guy already admitted he hasn’t watched the game. He’s a troll or an idiot.

On a serious note, I don't have a problem with the Rebel mascot and name. Yes, I understand it offends some, but it has a historical tie-in, and football is a non-lethal form of warfare, with a few RARE exceptions related to accidents and medical circumstances. So I'm just not bothered by the name or mascot. However, if they have plans to change their name and mascot, I'd suggest going intellectual and use their native black bear and the name Ursus Ebons. Normally, college mascots use a single name, like Volunteers, Tigers, and Bulldogs, for example. But there are exceptions such as Crimson Tide, Sun Devils, Black Knights, and so on. However, I'm very uncertain Mississippi has either intellect or creativity, so something like this will never happen.

During the off season, I suggested to my Ole Miss football fanatic friend... that they change their name to the Ole Miss Protesters. It could capture the essence of historical Rebels and the more modern cultural change we are seeing.
He thought I was kidding... I was not
In retrospect, maybe we should adopt it

While I'm on that "Protesters" theme... how do think St Nick, Commissioner Stinky and the press (including the godly Paulus Finebaumus) would react if Tennessee on defense had that many injury time outs during the upcoming bama game on an ESPN 7:00 PM national broadcast?
Would the press say "great strategy", "great coaching", etc?
Would Stinky fine us again???
Would Donde bend over again and call for Hype's suspension for a game to appease the world?

Wouldn't you love just to see us do this in that game?

I'm here for you
You do realize they did it a ton before we started. Heck yeah, if they are going to do that crap I don't blame us for doing it a few times. We would have been stupid not too. Surely you can count and realize that they did this a inordinate amount of times. But you probably can't. GBO!!!!

He just tries to rail against logic and common sense because he lacks it. GBO!!!!

If you can understand simple English then you have a very hard life. I'll break it down even more just for you cupcake.

Ole miss had fake injuries to slow our drives.
Vols had fake injuries to slow ole miss drives.

Tell me how it's OK for the vols to do it and not the rebels again?
Lol, I think you meant "can't understand English" There is a typo in your simple English smarta$$.
During that English class you clearly teach at UT, maybe research the word "nuance."
