@cardvolfan pretty much on par with where I thought we’d be.Considering that they didn’t have 2 of their veteran stud transfers in Ahuna and Merritt for the West Coast opening weekend tourney, they have surpassed my expectations. This team is extremely talented, has the deepest and best college pitching staff, in well coached, and has the potential to win a natty. I will be happy to make it to Omaha. I’ve learned to enjoy the ride. As a friendly reminder, due to inflated COVID rosters, we will likely never see a team as offensively talented and experienced as the 22 team.

Don’t leave out Cobb he changed his avatar too.@cardvolfan pretty much on par with where I thought we’d be.
I thought it would take a bit for our bats to catch up with our pitching and don’t think they are quite there yet.
Competition has been so so and I think the early tournament was a blessing in disguise for a young team trying to find itself and looking for an identity.
That early challenge may have put the nasty taste of defeat in their mouth and maybe turned some guys into leaders a little earlier than they wanted.
This team is going to be fine based on pitching alone, but they have some young firepower and when/if it comes together, get ready because it’s going to be a lot of fun.
