OldTimer’s Dugout - Off Topic Thread

Call it outdoor physics research and studies in meteorology. You can tell the speed of the pitch, estimate the distance the ball is hit, and come up with some numbers. Throw in humidity affecting the distance the balls are hit. You can also double check tweeted measurements.

Tell her you’re ‘teaching the kids and they don’t even know it.’

Unfortunately, that will not work with the wife. Going to a sporting event = unproductive and potentially dangerous for some reason.

However, my kids had a school field trip to top golf and the school sold it as a physics lesson. I'm down with that, but think they could've also gone with business.

You are barking up the wrong tree. The Professor isn’t a big fan of physics.

Physics is to Chemistry as Tim Corbin is to Tony Vitello

All biologists are chemists, but don't know it.

All chemists are physicists, but don't know it.

All physicists are mathematicians, but don't know it.

All mathematicians think they're gods.

Going to Top Golf can also be a business lesson. Purchase longer periods of time to save money. As can going to a sporting event. Should I purchase concessions or eat my own food to save money? Should I purchase seats further away from the action to save money? It’s all a business decision 😜
