I do a junior. I don't think he is a threat to anyone. He is a 19 year old angry kid upset with his girlfriend and spoke out of anger.. None of us have a clue what she said to him to provoke him either. His words are not premeditated, but spontaneous. Yeah he should not have said it, I bet he hasn't a clue what all he said.. Not the first time a angry person used a poor choice of words.

Do we have an official report released or just going on news reports? I've seen multiple versions and many are vague. I've seen where 1 person heard the shoot the school threat but the other 2 didn't. I've heard 2 of them heard the school threat but didn't see him, and I've heard all of them heard the threats.

True.

We know that was 99.9% percent likely that he was just heated and saying crazy things without having any attention BUT if things actually were to happen from no consequences then it would be a huge national fiasco. I hope he didn't say it.

If he didn't say it or they have no proof then I see him being back quick since there was no physical violence. We know Urban would've played him until he was formally convicted.

Except it's allegedly more than that. You can't threaten to shoot up a school. I'm not saying he actually said it, but he is accuesed. They can't not do anything until that's cleared, and I don't blame them.

Have you ever gotten mad at someone and yelled at them in the heat of the moment. Had he actually hit her, all bets are off. He took his anger out on an inanimate object. Speaking as someone who can have a temper that boils over. Yelling is sometimes a way to release the anger without getting physical with a person. I have punched a hole or two in a wall in times past. I know he is an athlete, but still a human.

The key is accused. Unless it is actually charged and convicted, it is complete heresay at this point. He is already convicted in the National media. They keep leaving off the very key word in this case. He is was arrested for MISDEMEANOR domestic assault. All you hear/read in the media blurbs is Domestic Assault.

I'm not disagreeing, but it would look absolutely horrible on the team and school if they allow him to play, then it's proven he did threaten that.

Hence the indefinite suspension until the actual facts come out. As far as I know, we are still in an innocent until proven guilty country. We don't know for certain what the final charges are at this point.

Sadly the innocent until proven guilty doesn't work anymore. All it takes is an accusation, and someone can be ruined.

You read the police report? Or is that what a media sites have stated? Just asking. Everything that I have read says that one person heard the comment. IF I am in a court of law, on the witness stand, and the defense attorney asks me if I heard him say it.....And I say yes. Then I can envision the next question being....Did you actually see him stating that? When I answer no.....I then envision the next question being.....Can you prove it was his voice?

Your wrong. In the report it says only one witness heard him say that. The others heard the slapping remark

The article says there were two witnesses who said they heard the "shoot up the school" statement and they were in the stairwell where it occurred. Pruitt may have no say in the matter if it is deemed likely that he actually said it. I hope he hasn't thrown away a great future with UT football but it certainly is a possibility.

Sorry add allegedly! If there is one witness that backs up the accusation then sadly he will have to be kicked off team and out of school!
