It looks more and more like Currie is on the train of thought to fire/hire very close together. If he can't announce Gruden, he won't fire Butch. The team is use to Butch's schedule and upsetting that could be detrimental to the young men on the team, like taking your kid out of class mid school year to move. Butch getting fired vs. staying on to coach the rest of the year...pretty much the same thing. Recruiting is going to take a hit because he's gone, and everybody knows it. How would an interim change the effect on recruiting fall out? We know the interim won't be here either. The best case scenario is keep the staff together until year's end for the sake of your current players and announce Gruden (we're assuming Gruden's taking the job) as soon as you can for the class of '18's recruits and all of our sanity.

See this right here is what I wish people told me more before my wife had our son, then I might not have stayed up messing around on the PS4 so much and actually went to bed at a good hour and get some sleep

Cause there is no such thing as sleep now, or sleeping in, or privacy, or.......eh y'all get the picture

It was already scheduled to come down yesterday I believe. They already took it down on the 31st then put it back up. When they post it they always have a pre-scheduled date to take it down.

I'm trying, but I'm too busy reading and getting excited about Gruden. 😃 My engineer side tells me not to believe until an official announcement. But my Tennessee heart seems to be MUCH louder and convinced that Gruden is happening this time. It will be like my college days again when he gets here!

Good morning all! What incredible day to be alive! We drove to Knoxville on Friday and the trees on fire with red and orange and yellow leaves beaming from the branches! Football is important but not the most important. We have vol brothers and sisters on here fighting cancer, having babies facing unemployment and I’m sure countless other life circumstances! On this amazing day the Lord has made, let’s be grateful for all we have! Make today awesome! Oh and, Gruden is coming. 🔜👊

He certainly doesn't care if he goes out after a win or a loss. He just wants to leave.

I still think Butch is here until the end of the season. The UTAD has done nothing in the past 10 years that makes me think otherwise.

This is depressing and I really hope you are correct.

Me and my son finished 12.4 miles 31 obstacles in 4 hr 48 min. not super great time (about 57% overall) but it was the last race of our season, and we completed our double trifecta, which was our goal this year.

EDIT to add, we got about 10 miles into the race, i caught a whiff of runners high, but my boy was starting to struggle. so i called his name, he grunted, i said, "gruden." he grunted an okay. i laughed at that one ... boy was so beat. i can't do anything right now without this thread and gruden in the back of my mine.

Jones was twitter king in the football universe, he hasn't sent out nothing since the 10th of Oct. He is gone one way or the other. SOON! GET GRUDEN TO THE HILL! VERY SOON!

A couple of Grude morning thoughts...

5fingervolpunch: $10k will buy a lot of diapers. :) Congrats for your new addition to the family!

I've finally figured out, tasty can only be calmed by SFD. :)

SFD and I were able to compare notes on Friday. We both heard the same thing from completely different areas.

The fire is secondary to the hire. :)
