Missouri is going to whip us, I am all in on Gruden, but why we can't come out and say Butch is not coming back but will finish the year is beyond me. It would probably help with recruits if they knew that. If it's on Grudens timeline, that would take the pressure off. Acting like Jones is still safe all the while cancelling OV and him not tweeting or recruiting since October 10th is a sure sign something is happening but why they aren't saying it is confusing. Roger Dhultz with Lee Shirvanian in WNSP in Mobile Alabama said yesterday that he thinks A coach has already been hired, and when he was asked who he thought it was he said Gruden. And he gave several reasons why he thought it was true.
He quoted several things that Gruden has said recently about the possibility of returning to coaching.
Then he said something interesting. He said that he thought with the NFL declining and the possibility of ESPN losing the NFL, that Gruden may be thinking about the future. He also said this: “Gruden wants to be remembered as a coach, a legendary coach, and not a broadcaster.” And he said the click is ticking for him to do that, and that there was no better place for him to do that than Tennessee.
Just reporting. Don’t shoot the messenger.
Btw, Shultz is the biggest banner there ever was, not a Tennessee fan.

I cannot find odds for next TN coach on that off shore website. Only FL..which you have to give 150 for Scott Frost. I believe I read on this thread, that JG was down to getting 150. Does this mean JG is a lock?

“No one has told me anything about what’s going on at Tennessee so I don’t know,” Gerald said. “Obviously something is going on. I don’t even know what to say. I don’t know what to say because I don’t know anything. As far as I know, everything is still the same but it’s obvious something is going on. I’m just not being told.”
