Thats exactly right. Compromise starts withbone little word. Doubt. You compromise on one thing it eventually festers in to a complete sellout.

So much for the most passionate fanbase. Starting to sound like a bunch of quitting sellouts.

I posted it on twitter: You wont get Al Wilson level passion and energy from ANY hire that Currie et al make.

I'm with ya on this. Both need to be gone, but ask yourself this question.

How did this all come about? How did all those other boosters allow themselves to be outsmarted by two guys AGAIN.

Then now, Exile hinted that it appears those same boosters have given up the fight.

Why? If they're so outraged, and so pissed off at Haslam, why are the still allowing this to happen?

If I was one of those guys I'd be damned if I was gonna let him beat me again.

My sentiments exactly. It seems like some people on here want to settle for mediocrity, which is exactly what the HoH wants. Stay the course, friends! Don't give up!

Who cares??? That’s not proof at all.

Stop comparing coaches to what we had. This is an attitude that settles. Let’s just be better than butch is going to keep us in the 6-7th position in the SEC for a long time. Either Currie and Haslam are the problem and need to go regardless of the coach or they aren’t the problem at all. It’s time to pick sides.

No I get it.....but the fact remains to be seen that a hire won't be made.

I agree there is a deeper issue but the thought process of running of every potential hire to oust the A.D. and Haslam is asinine. Currie didn't hire Butch (not a defense I greatly dislike Currie).

You think we're bargain bin shopping now, if this keeps up, just wait.

Really? Boring Doeren? Dude Leach is so much better as a coach than him it's laughable

You also gotta look at where Leach has coached, he's been at Texas Tech and Wash State. Not exactly real powerhouses in the football world, but he did get TT to a #1 ranking in 08, won their division, which Butch never did by the way, also Doeren hasn't done either.

Give the man UT's resources and I'd be you he'd do a lot better.

Hey guys and girls, I work for the Carolina Panthers and I know that someone on our coaching staff was contacted by Currie about some sort of position with Tennessee this week. Pretty sure it wasn't Ron Rivera, think it was either Mike Shula or Steve Wilks. Don't know anything else. This might be a moot point if Mike Leach is the hire, but thought it was interesting enough that I should sign up and let you guys know.
