I can't see Leach being someone that would bow to Currie/Haslam

I can't see his offense, tweaked or not, working very long in the SEC.

I really wish Atlanta would give us a ray of hope.

7 teams from PAC12 ranked the top 50 for total offense

SEC has 5

PAC12 has 4 teams ranked in the top 50 in total defense

SEC has 6

The stats are comparable

I’m on record saying that I don’t mind Leach and that’s great that a certain percentage of Florida fans are nervous. As I stated if Leach was hired by a new AD or even Fulmer I’d accept it.

What I don’t accept is Currie doing the hiring which is why many of us are still in this thread because we understand it’s bigger than just a coach.

Either way, I, just like many others will have to decide if we want to support this AD if this hire goes through and Currie keeps his job.

Auburn’s offense is very similar though isn’t it, just tweaked with some power runs.

I don't think many hearts will be broken if it's not Leach. Most know what the problem is, if Currie is allowed to stay as AD many at Tennessee will pull their money and they should. If Currie stays you can pretty much bank Haslam stays. Most fans are not going to support that, and there is no way around it. Tennessee better get this right in the end.:rock:

That's why we fired Butch ! Look I am not your enemy. I want to win as much as you whoever the coach at Tennessee is. My opinion no better than yours but my opinion is I don't want my represenative going around acting a fool like some pirate. For his coaching I want more than just better than Butch. I don't know who we can get now but just know I don't want Leach. If we do choose him I will be right beside you cheering him on though.

He’s not that bad. He doesn’t actually act like a pirate. He’s just a quirky dude and has some funny interest. I’m just ready to get behind a decent coach and win some games!

Again, they aren't playing against SEC defenses like Alabama's, Auburn's , Georgia's. Playing against powder puff defenses it's easy to be ranked in the top 50.

Perfect this is what I should have said to ArkansasVol
instead of Leach argument. We know even if it's not Gruden we still don't want Currie and Haslam calling the shots anymore.
