okay, so i sent an email that i doubt ever gets read.

however, i called the number, talked to alex wheeler.
he said he's taking note of all calls and passing them along to davenport. he said they are definitely hearing from a lot of people, voicing their displeasure of currie. i asked him if it was like hundreds, or thousands. he said all in all, thousands are having their voices heard, but not even hundreds on the phone.

i told him i was going to try to make him very busy today.
c'mon volnation. call the davenport's number. make your voices heard.

BLOW. IT. UP.

I just got off the phone with Alex in the Chancellor's office as well. I made it very clear that my financial support of the university was on hold until changes are made in the AD office. What Currie pulled yesterday is unacceptable. If change is not made - my money goes else where!

Schiano was never plan B as I alluded to earlier...even sadder part is I found out about it from one of Urbans very close associates literally as it was going down Sunday afternoon with a text “did you know you are closing in on Schiano? Your crew is up here now are you aware?”

Ill elaborate more once I have time to put the rest of the puzzle together and the timing around it but rest assured this guy was never even on most of our radar until the very last second....which is clearly what Currie wanted.

I am headed to knoxville now...then off to an another location to discuss what measures will help force change. We must demand accountability....pure and simple.

Thank you for doing something about this and for taking the time to let us know what you can!

We are headed into a dark time...but we must rid ourselves of the folks who continue to bring this program down and bow to “old money” in order to truly have a chance at the future. I am headed to ktown today...if something isn’t done then many of us have no other choice than to pull funding and resources until a change is made. I urge all of you no matter how big or small a donor to let the folks at UTAD department know we expect a healthy process and fair shake....if not support other good causes and get tickets on stub hub the day of the game if you want but do not donate until resolution has come.
A call to Tennessee Fund might help. Threaten to be done if they can’t get it right. Yes your Vol rep doesn’t have no big say but several actions could make a difference.

I don't believe for one second that Currie seriously attempted to contact anyone BUT Schiano.

His statement proves it to me.

I started a thread, but there's so much activity, it got completely over ran in about 1 minute, so I'll post here as well.

I called Davenports office. Actually got a live person. I talked to Alex Wheeler. He said he's taking note of all calls and passing them along to davenport. He said they are definitely hearing from a lot of people, voicing their displeasure of Currie. I asked him if it was like hundreds, or thousands; he said all in all, thousands are having their voices heard, but not even hundreds on the phone.

We need to go over Curries head, which is over Davenport.

BLOW! IT! UP!

Be reasonable but firmly voice your displeasure and concerns. BE HEARD!

I called and got the same guy. He sounded bored

Amen.

For those that missed it, the attached tweet is from the owner of Casual Pint Northshore. He has since deleted the tweet.

We need to see this as much as possible.

I wish Gruden would open his mouth and eitjer say he wants the job or say no way. Think how much simpler that would make things.
After this I never want to hear him mentioned again unless he's our next hc.

Having lived in Louisville for several years now (and on the Tennessee side south of bowling green for the majority of my life prior to my time at UT), i know that Brohm is well-thought of in both communities. He didn’t have a great year at Purdue...but he’s far from the worst that could happen. I know that’s not super promising to hear, but he’s considered a solid coach.

nice try....thanks but no thanks.

Too much going on, is this verified? first bold....

To the second bold, damn right!

Several media radio stations are saying what they've said all along. Currie ask him weeks ago and Gruden said no thank you. We didn't listen to that and chose to listen to the so called insiders, me included.

:loco:

F Gruden if he said no I am sick of this.

^This

He had multiple opportunities to squash the rumors and actively avoided them. He specifically requested that he not be asked about the Tennessee job. That was a chance to clear things up and he WENT OUT OF HIS WAY to avoid it.

I'm not going to completely turn on him yet.. Because it could be that he had a deal with boosters and the AD rejected it... But if thats not the case and it turns out he was never really interested.. F him.

“Headed into a dark time...” Bull butter, we’ve been in dark times since they fired Phil. Nothing but BS on the Hill for the last 10 years. I’m sick of I*t*.

We are watching a civil war for the control of UT come to a head right now...I think at this point it's one we cannot lose, but may get worse before it gets better.

The time for Brohm has passed. I'll admit, after yesterday's debacle, he certainly looks like a viable option. However, due to the state we are in an Orange blood infusion is needed more than ever. I'm willing to sacrifice some wins to re-establish some Tennessee values. Let Cutcliffe take over, and let Tee be a coach-in-waiting. There will he immediate support for that, where a hire like Brohm, wise as it may be, will produce fan apathy like we've not yet experienced.

This right here Boro. Give it to Cut or Fulmer and let them bring in all VFLs for their coordinators and position coaches.

The Orange and White blood is more important right now.

We will see... but there’s a lot more to it than that.

Was Currie ever on board with the Gruden hire? It sounds like everything was in place for this to happen, if you believe Gruden was presented a contract that gave him control of football operations and he signed that contract, or a MOU.

In your opinion. did Currie just go along with that plan and then blindside everyone at the last minute? If so, is UT on the hook for anything Gruden may have signed?

I have a million questions about the supposed Gruden hire but I'm sure everyone else does also. If you can't answer, I fully understand. Still holding out hope for Gruden.

I posted yesterday that he has known Shiano since Tampa Bay days. He went after him while at Kansas St. to replace Bill Snyder. I believe now that Shiano his plan B. I believe Mullin was the target and when Kelley went to UCLA, Florida went after Mullin which left Currie with plan B Shiano. In the middle of this I believe Haslam forced Shiano on Currie because Haslam interviewed Shiano a few weeks ago for the Browns job.

:thud:

F$%^ Haslam and the boat he rode in on!

We need to see this as much as possible.

He took "owner of Casual Pint Northshore" off of his personal account at first.

Then he apologized with a copy/paste job on both personal and the Casual Pint NSH account.

Then he took his personal account private.

Then he deleted the Casual Pint NSH account.

Now he has deleted his personal account.

He's hoping it will go away.

Make sure it doesn't.
