Despite looking like Buster Brown, I think the fact that Kirby was an All-SEC safety gives him some added credibility with some of these recruits. They've also beaten us by 30 a year on average the last 3 years. It speaks volumes for us that it is a 50/50. I still have a gut feeling we pull it out.🤞🤞🤞

You honestly think beating Tennessee in its down years is an accomplishment?

Kirby has already shown he’s not able to win during the “Big Stage” with elite talent.

He’ll be nothing more than a good recruiter who’ll have no championships to show for it.

Chad Simmons says UGA
If Washington was a Georgia based recruit, then that would concern me. Simmons is really connected in Georgia. With Washington being out of state...Simmons is getting the same info as Mansell...all from someone at UGA that feels good about it. Tennessee and UGA staffs both feel good about landing Washington.

I keep coming back to this...the only good offense UGA can show Washington that used the TE under Kirby Smart was run by Jim Chaney. Where is Chaney now? Also, who has the better QB room in 2020? UGA might be ahead of UT on talent overall, but the business side of his decision has to keep turning up UT unless he's predicting that UGA is going to suddenly turn it around on offense next season and be a big passing threat. When looking for concrete things at UGA to show he's going to be set-up for a great career at TE...there just isn't much there. Now if he decided to play DE, that would be in their favor.

I think they won the SEC two years ago was it? I'd like for us to do that. I also don't think they were favored either time against Bama or LSU. We need to beat them, until we start doing so we are going to lose more of these than we win.

If the coaching staff knows he is gone, they sure don't seem to act like it. It could mean they aren't going to take another player just for the sake of it but his position is certainly one of need so you would see other fall back options being pursued by this point

If you guys have been following AV, you know he said DW was playing the game. TN coaches want everyone to think he's going to UGA right up until after he signs with TN. Same game was played with HT last year.

Recruits definitely do that but I would like to think a coach wouldn't encourage that because it can come back to bite you in the butt when other teams do it. I wouldn't believe everything you read

It is what it is. This program is gonna have to take some under the radar players and beat teams they aren't supposed to.
