I would rather we not play in it either, it is in like 5 days and across the country. We have already beaten like 8 top 100 teams this season and this team is no where on that level (they are like 250th nationally). I'm not sure if all of our players will go either. I think Lee County had that problem last season when they played in this. I think a lot of their SRs that were going on to college didnt play.

I would think our staff is dead set against it...I know I am...I don't even want him playing in any HS all star games either..


Let's just bubble wrap him, and deliver him to Knoxville safe and sound..this kid is our future.

I hope we don't throw him to the wolves next year either..we don't have to, or need to barring injuries or JG and Maurer both regressing big time, and next year ain't the year anyway.

My 7/10 is based off the confidence I have in Niedermeyer’s ability as a recruiter and the fact kid has been here 6 times now. I don’t believe he has told either side he is in as of Monday morning. In reality it’s probably 50/50 based off that last fact. I just put a bunch of weight in Nieds.

I have never waivered...and told y’all for months we were always the leader here no matter what any reporters or recruiting experts or the kid said in public and that never changed. I also told you i knew why all the UGA love was coming in and I can share that after this is over....but the fact is we still lead and we just need to close the chapter on this book this weekend. Could it change...of course but right now my volmeter is at 90%.

Now get out there and show this kid and his family some TN love at the Mem game.

Recruits talk to each other all the time and try to persuade one another, you are reading way too much into it. It is what it is at this point.

It's in recruits best interest to play recruiters, bagmen, etc. Does anyone expect them to say "no sir, I will never come to your school and I will not accept your money, gifts or attention and I will definitely NOT have sex with the hot girls you introduce me to!"

We criticize them for it but nearly every 17-18 guy in America would kill to be in their shoes.
