This. Last weekend and 6 trips in total. Vol.
Y'all know he's been to UGA 5 or 6 times too. I'm still thinking we get him. AV was right about us getting the last visit, so I'm inclined to go with him on this one until proven otherwise, but the quantity of visits is basically a wash.

It is what it is. This program is gonna have to take some under the radar players and beat teams they aren't supposed to.

There are only a handful of 5* players each year, UT doesn't need 5* players to be great. They need to develop the talent they already have and continue to develop the ones that will be coming in. If you look at the most productive players on this year's roster, many of them were not highly recruited: Marquez Calloway, Middleton, and Palmer. Then you have players who were heavily recruited who have performed well: Thompson, Jennings, Taylor, Henry T, and the two tackles. Two of UT's most important players are 5* players, the vast majority are 3 and 4* recruits. UT is going to have to beat our rivals occasionally if we are going to consistently land heavily recruited players.

Recruits definitely do that but I would like to think a coach wouldn't encourage that because it can come back to bite you in the butt when other teams do it. I wouldn't believe everything you read
CJP's staff keeps recruiting info under wraps. VQ and 247 have trouble getting reliable info from TN coaches. There were even rumors last year that TN coaches leaked wrong info to recruiting guys to throw other teams off when the info was reported. VQ and 247 have to depend on people around the recruit and other teams coaches leaking recruit info.

This is how everyone thought Henry T was between Bama and Washington last year. Is was signing day before the other teams realized it was going to be TN. All this time Washington and Bama were negative recruiting each other instead of TN.

We have also seen where other coaches follow CJPs coat tails and offer under the radar recruits after he does. Another reason TN coaches aren't leaking anything to the local or national recruiting guys.

Marquez Callaway was a top 100 recruit 🤦‍♂️

DEFINITELY not someone I truly cover, so I am not near as tuned into Washington's recruitment as I am to other's in my region.

With that said, I have heard things from people that I trust that UGA is in the top spot heading into Wednesday. I put in about 10 FutureCasts last night from guys outside my region based on things I have heard, but this is not something I KNOW or am 100% on by any means.

Again, this is A LOT different than me putting a FutureCast in for a kid I personally know and cover.

wait I thought dude was signing but not announcing till the All Star game?

It will leak out. When UT or UGA doesn’t get the news on Wednesday. At the very least some new offers or commits will happen based on DW’s decision. The average fan may not know until the All Star game, but the diehards like the people on here will know pretty quickly.
