No, we'll know after the draft if Alvin is a sure fire first rounder. He could run great at the combine but if there isn't a team at the back end of the 1st round that doesn't value AK as much as another RB or if RB isn't a need at that point for a handful of those teams, then he will not be a "surefire first rounder".

He won't last until the back end of the first half. As long as he runs a 4.4 40 at the combine he'll go in the mid-1st round. I'm currently projecting him to the Ravens at #16 overall.

Kamara may be a great back but the RB position has lost TONS of value in recent years. i also get that we considered him a special talent but theres just not enough film or production from him to be considered a special talent to the nfl.

I think he will be a 2nd rounder with a chance to slip to the third if there isn't much pressure to draft a RB for the teams that need one.

You mean tape? He played a ton for a year and half, two years. There's plenty of tape. The RB position has been devalued but he's a talent and I think he'll go in the second. If Barnett is not picked in the top 10/12, then the should fire every GM in the league!

There's an old saying about two brothers who both grew up and left home. One became a fisherman, and one became the Vice President, and neither were ever heard from again. I feel like the same could be said for first round draft picks by the Cleveland Browns. #RIPMylesGarrett'sCareer

If he even had a career to begin with.

Sorry, call me a homer, but he doesn't impress me. I'd rather have a Barnett or Allen rather than Garrett who padded his stats against cupcakes.

Garrett = Clowney 2.0 IMO

Do you just spout off ridiculous stuff for the fun of it? Your opinions and comments make me scratch my head every single time.

Does anybody remember the NFL Draft Cruncher? Its been gone now for about 10 years but they took a composite average of the 10 most prominent Mocks to show you where all these guys would land based on their composite average. Anything like that still around?

disagree. he's not been asked to do anything that would translate in to a 3-4. he's not a stand up OLB, and he's not a 3 down linemen either. he's dropped in coverage a few times, which he'd be asked to do as a 4-3 DE at times in the NFL as well.

his skill set is suited best at a 4-3 DE. if a team that runs a 3-4 drafts him, then i'd immediately wonder about their scouts and talent evaluators, and the DC....

it'd be a complete mis use of his skill set.
I'm not so sure he doesn't have the coverage ability to be a 3-4 OLB and because he doesn't have necessarily the ☑️ By his name doesn't mean he wouldn't fit into a 3-4 DE...

it depends on how much weight can be added but I could see him play 3-4 and he has the motor during games to be a asset there.

However I do agree with you about him being a more natural fit in a 4-3. I just wouldn't rule out him playing in a 3-4

Haven't looked specifically where each team is picking, just know, obviously, that the better teams/winning franchises will pick later in the round rather than earlier. Want to see our guys succeed and Im comfortable with the general idea that their respective careers are better served if they wind up with the Patriots or Steelers or Packers rather than the Jaguars or Bengals or Vikings. That's all I'm saying....want our guys to be set up for as much success as possible.

Hold on just a second. Don't you be dragging my Vikings in on this discussion. Four SBs and six NFC Championship game appearances is nothing to sneeze at. Of course we...Uh...Lost all four of those SBs and Favre blew our last shot to play against Peyton and the Colts in what would have been a fifth SB (loss), but that besides the point. Go Vikings!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clowney had a great year this past year after he got over the injuries and they stopped trying to make him play standing up as much. So I wouldn't use the comparison just yet.

I just don't see any way that AK goes before DB, none at all.

Good pass rushers simply have a much higher premium on them than a RB has in this day and age.

I also seriously believe that whatever teams gets those 2 VFL's are going to be seriously surprised at how good they are now and how much better they'll become over the next couple of years.

I also believe that DB is going to make the team that takes that overhyped kid from aTm really regret passing on him and I'll be LMAO at that team.

Thank God my Titans won't take that kid!

With 2 picks in the 1st round I can't wait to see what my Titans do.

VFL...GBO!!!

All mocks right now are complete garbage.

Step 1 is finding out what every team does in Free Agency which will turn the mocks upside down and change most important team needs to be filled.

After the first 2 or 3 rounds of FA are done then everyone will know much better what team needs are and how much cap $$$ every team still has to play with.

About Haslams horrid Cleveland browns...They just might make some serious and decent moved this year.

Browns have 5 draft picks in the top 65 picks and they have $105 Million in cap space.

If Cleveland spends $$$ well in the FA market to fill serious needs and they hit well in the draft they could become a team worth talking about especially in 2 years from now.

That's just a crazy amount of $$$$$ to play with in cap space and amount to top 65 draft picks not to mention what they might get in the later rounds.

With my Titans having the #5 and #18 1st round picks in the draft I won't be at all surprised to see them trade down to get a 2nd round pick if there's somebody they really like in the 2nd round.

VFL...GBO!!!

If Barnett goes to Miami, I'd wager you'll see all of Knoxville in aqua and orange.

2017 NFL Draft: Which running backs raise red flags as potential fumblers? - CBSSports.com

Kamara ranks in the RED FLAG area for fumbles (along with Dalvin Cook). I am hearing a ton of buzz around him but I just do not think this guy is first round worthy.

To the point of Derek Barnett, I'm seeing lots of people drop him down into the late first or early second round. You cannot convince me that Taco Charleton is a better draft prospect than Derek Barnett. And don't give me the "size" argument when a guy like Solomon Thomas has stock that's skyrocketing.

The combine is going to shuffle some draft positions. How that changes things with Barnett or Kamara remains to be seen.
