So which job is Brohm waiting on? Kentucky?

Western Kentucky: Head coach Jeff Brohm has turned down two interview opportunities this week and is “totally focused on (the C-USA) title game,” according to Scout.com

Would be a special hire for UK but they'd never do it.

Does anyone actually want the Carolina job? Spurrier left them nothing, they successfully fought to make sure Clemson stayed in an easier conference to hilarious results, and seem to be in a weird recruiting Bermuda triangle.

South Carolina will have to hire an assistant or a coach from the MAC,AAC or Sunbelt. South Carolina needs to get in touch with ULL Coach Mark Hudspeth or East Carolina Coach Ruffin McNeill

The main question is, if Strong is canned from Texas, do they throw the bank at Saban? Pretty sure I read an article saying that they would do whatever it takes to make Saban their head coach next season. Their boosters can outbid Bama any day of the week.

Tom Herman will probably be a major target of Texas if they can Strong in 2016. I wouldn't be shocked if they talk to Saban also.

Kentucky: The Lexington Herald-Leader notes that Mark Stoops’ buyout before Dec. 1, 2017 would be all of his remaining salary, meaning it’s $15.5 million right now and about $12 million after next season.

Missouri: Rivals.com’s Mizzou site reports Utah State head coach Matt Wells will interview for the Mizzou head coaching job.

No shame there, considering our last two hires came from the old WAC and AAC.

Per football scoop:

Richt, on his coaching show noted that he was contacted by 5 programs today. Sources tell us that South Carolina could wind up being the one; but there are others and with Richt it’s all about fit.

That would be a home run hire for them.

PowerMizzou apparently saying that the school contacted Mark Richt

‏@GabeDeArmond
Have been told #Mizzou was one of five schools to reach out to Mark Richt today. Do not know if he was receptive.

He could still be upset about the 2014 season and the 2013 game, who knows? :p

Maryland apparently contacted Richt as well.
