I never said I want him here (I'd take him over Pruitt though).I can see that the idiot parade is alive and well today.......
I've tried to educate you guys about Leach with an objective look at his record.....
remain in your stupidity.......
There wasn't enough objective evidence to hire Priutt to lead our program. Adios.CJP is just 16 games into being a HC at any program.....
I'd say that there is not enough objective evidence at this point to draw any intelligent conclusions about CJP as a HC.
On the other hand---in 18+ years of coaching Leach has only won 61.5% of his games.....
I'd say that is enough objective evidence to conclude that he ain't ever gonna progress from his mediocrity....
Yes--he knows how to score points.....but he doesn't know how to elevate a program.....
Goodbye......
Leach has been a HC for 18+ years and has posted a 186-85 record (61.5%) coaching record accumulated from time in the Big-12 and the PAC-12.
That's PLENTY OF OBJECTIVE EVIDENCE proving his mediocrity at best --against Big 12 and PAC-12 DEFENSES!
61.5% will NOT cut it in the SEC.....
Leach's record after 5 years at WSU was a dismal 29-34 to equal a 46% winning record.
Butch Jones record @ 5 years at UT was a dismal 34-27 to equal a 55.7% winning record---that got him summarily fired.
Just what may I ask would you consider to be objective evidence proving Leach could do any better here than he did in his first 5 years at WSU???????
SMH.....
That was my point! If you are not a Leach supporter, why did you claim that nothing was ruined. You wouldn't know that unless you were.
I’ve said a few times that Leach is overrated. Not that he’s not a good coach...he is. But he’s often credited with being very good or great, which he isn’t.
Many on this site lament that UT didn’t hire Leach. Many have also cited Pruitt’s regression from Season 1 to Season 2 as a reason not to believe he can get it done.
In his first 3 seasons at Washington State, Leach was 3-9, 6-7, and 3-9. Leach actually regressed to 3-9 in his third season. Building a program isn’t always a linear upward trajectory.
You are foolishly ignoring the fact that he’s at WASHINGTON STATE. You’re also weighing in those 3-9 rebuilding years rather than focusing on what he has built. I don’t want Leach, but to say there is no objective evidence that he’d succeed is really ludicrous.
