creams aren't my preferred method either, but the technology has improved vastly in the last couple of years, so if it's been longer than that, they're worth trying again if you're on a budget. otherwise go to a GOOD salon (i.e., where none of the clients or the stylists are over the age of 35, preferably where a haircut costs more than at regis) and try a spray there. be sure to get the lightest color possible your first time and graudally go darker if that's what you want later.
