^^^. nice try, NC. -not assuming that they wouldn’t - just haven’t heard that they did.
What is not up for debate: He was OUT cold. Starting QB takes a huge hit and passes out on the sidelines. If it’s no big deal, you talk about it and move on. Nobody’s talking.
It’s been mentioned in other threads, but I don’t see one dedicated to it. If we really care for our players, we should be making a little noise about this. Does anyone have any real credible evidence that he did not pass out cold?
I’ve seen the video - it’s all over twitter. Put the kid in Concussion Protocol. He’s our guy, and will be this year. It is easy to see how much life he brings to the program AND to see that he would be the last guy to put himself in the protocol. That’s why it is designed to be objective - to protect the player. One game in this heinous season is not worth the risk to his career and life-after-football.
-thoughts!?
He was hit directly in the chest by a very hard but clean. I think he had the breathe knocked out of him. He collapsed but got back up in seconds. Some player did not even see the blitz coming and didn’t even wave st him as passed by himIt’s been mentioned in other threads, but I don’t see one dedicated to it. ... very curious what the cause was if it wasn't one.
Been there before. Recuperated after several long seconds of sucking wind and a minute or two later found myself blacking out because I wasn't really breathing like I should. Taking very shallow breaths and not getting enough O2. Had to think real hard to breath deep and ignore the pain and spasms. I stayed light headed for a while, It really sucked.A good shot to the solar plexus and you have a real hard time breathing...
In the replays it didn't look like his head hit the turf, but his head rocked pretty violently forward when he was hit. You can get a concussion from that. I took a cheap hit to the ear hole in high school and don't remember anything about it (concussion). I only say it in films later. It’s been mentioned in other threads, but I don’t see one dedicated to it. If we really care for our players, we should be making a little noise about this.
