It won't take long for NY, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, LA etc to become total shitholes that no one will live in again. The rich will move out to their compounds and the poor will suffer. I am thinking some generationally poor folk are waking up and seeing the game for what it truly is, and are now opting to play it their own way.

The rotting facade of American representative democracy, and the never ending propaganda in our supposed exceptionalism has been thoroughly exposed as b****** ---- wholly revealed with recent crises. Regardless of political party, ideology, race, or class the American state has been exposed to be toothless/ineffectual, and now a oligarchy run by plutocrats has firmly taken hold...masks off for all to see...

As you have seen targeting high dollar businesses (Apple, Gucci, etc.) elicits a robust response from the "state." The powers that be whether Dems or Repubs are always ready to defend corporate property earnestly, and with gusto. When this happens in the ghetto they most often allow entire blocks to burn as they stand by and watch, gawk, and make stupid comments.

Who is buying all of the businesses that have been boarded up and then looted? You think a Target or Walgreens that was looted is going to be bought by a developer looking to improve the neighborhood and build some high end condo's?

There is NO "leadership" from the executive branch, Congess and down to the mayor's office. Everybody knows. This has been made readily apparent....All the emperors have not a stitch of clothes... ironically --as drump said-- "the game is rigged" and he oughta know!

No but I think people like Deblasio will buy up emptying residential buildings for the cheap then sell them later.
