I will say I think there is a lot of merit to Butch being an insecure,polarizing, jerk. I also think theres no merit to Butch Jones keeping Marlin from being in the NFL. Marlin just wasnt good enough.

I have posted this once and would not do it again unless I felt necessary. I personally know someone that worked with Butch Jones on a weekly basis and these stories that are coming out about him are not surprising at all. the news on Antone Davis being bullied and now a former player are a direct reflection of the type of person Butch Jones was as the head coach at Tennessee. I truly believe the job was to much for him to handle and it therefore effected his character on a daily basis. I am sure Butch Jones is good parent and friend, but as a head football coach he was disrespectful and mean.

Whether the anti recruiting is true or not theres a clear track record,

Helm, Dre B, Playing Kendrick with a freaking concussion, "**** THEM ALL" towards the fans, Davis, ect ect.

Yes, he did shady stuff. All coaches do. Fulmer was every bit as shady as Kiffin. Some of this seems like a witch hunt right now though, especially with Swain having to retract his story about the recruits being called. I don’t know what’s true and what’s not.

Jones ain't the peach the sunshine pumpers thought he was. I've heard some stories not news related that would make people think differently about the guy. I don't like him.

And it’s not like these stories are just coming out after he got fired...they’ve been around for years. And I love the people who say stuff like “well why didn’t anyone bring this up earlier when he was still the coach?”...they did, it’s just that you either refused to listen or didn’t believe them. Can’t have it both ways.
