I'm not complaining, it's just weird. He's back to being accurate again. It's great. So happy for him. Isn't he 3rd in the country in QB rating?Drew Lock had the same problem and he's playing on Sundays. I'll take accuracy on those 20-30 yd. lasers over the tosses in the flat any day. I'll bet they work on those throws in the flat and get that corrected. It's not as easy as some think because you have to deliver the ball without floating it so the back has time to look upfield and make the first tackler miss.
This is where Volnation makes me want to pull my hair out. He throws for over 400 yards on a top 10 defense in the nation, and people say he had "too many" bad plays. Just smh.
turnoversI just don't understand why we can't score with those kind of numbers. Tyler Bray had 4 400+ yard games and we averaged 49.5 points in them. It's crazy to get an excellent performance yards wise but its baffling to not be able to turn it into points.
Not blaming JG for this, but can't explain it.
He has played better, but don’t kid yourself he is the same JG we have known all along. I like the kid, think he is a a fighter and tough as nails but he is not the second coming of Peyton Manning. Before you say anything, I don’t think Maurer is either. With better QB play this season, we would have at least a couple more wins maybe even 3 or 4.

I tend to look at a glass half full rather than half empty. However, IF I was treated as bad as JG in the beginning of the year , I would have been gone. The guy has guts and heart. Hope he is back next year,,,,,Just because we live and breathe Tennessee doesn’t mean we shouldn’t look at things objectively.
