Gosh dangit people. I understand this isn't the most rational place on the internet(is there any rational place on the internet?), but just because someone interviews doesn't mean he is getting the job. Also, I wouldn't know how to put together an offensive game plan for big boy football if I had Bill Walsh holding my hand, so you know what I am going to do??? I am going to trust the man in charge. Not blind trust but proven trust that "he gets it", and has yet to do anything to shake that trust. Look around at our program. If you can't trust in this guy to hire the right guy then you just don't have it in you. Move to the woods and hunt for squatches...

Guy won a Natty as Michigan's OC in '97. I understand that the game has changed in 18 years, but the guy can't be a total hack.

I honestly believe we should be more worried about Coach Z leaving. Would be catastrophic for recruiting this cycle and the next.

They also would've gotten slaughtered by Nebraska had the BCS been in place. Instead, they played WA State and we got slaughtered by Nebraska. Michigan was good that year, but nobody was going to beat the Huskers in Osborne's final game.

exactly... the only reason would be to do the guy a favor.......

if CBJ hires Debord it is the beginning of the end for Jones and no way the spin master can spin it to get fans to "buy-in".

Why would Jones even waste valuable time interviewing this guy ? That alone is cause for concern. The guy is not even currently coaching a team and given his track record it is obvious why that is the case. But hey, he is Butch's mentor so that is all that matters to Jones.
