There is no crime scene, there are no witnesses... Congress had her before them today, she is the only witness... they could reasonably ask her anything they wanted. The FBI doesn't have jurisdiction to run a criminal probe. The only thing the FBI can possibly do is take statements, but is only if you have cooperating witness. Get it?

I understand and I agree, but you can still have the FBI "investigate" which would include interviews with her and interviews with the ones who said they weren't there. There is a bit the FBI can investigate without a crime scene and no known witnesses at this point. ****, on my background check, an FBI agent interviewed a person I went to school with 20 years ago that I didn't have listed on my SF86

You clearly don't understand basic jurisdiction law or common sense investigation work. The people at the "party" gave statements that it didn't occur, there is no crime scene, even if there was a crime scene the FBI doesn't have jurisdiction. All the FBI can do is take statements from cooperating witnesses, in this case there is only one alleged witness and she was before the committee today... no need for the FBI.

Exactly what is the FBI going to investigate, its a stupid discussion.
