Kavanaugh Confirmation

Why are you pointing it out as a big deal all hysterically?

I don’t do hysterics , unlike some I keep my emotions in check that’s why I’m not a lib. I was just stating a fact , 9:30am is what Grassley sent out .

False reporting 2-10% and often inflated:

To the last point, that’s why we still have a court system. Celebrities saying they believe her isn’t getting him thrown in jail; he hasn’t lost anything except for respect in the eyes of some.

He hasn't lost anything? I sure hope this never happens to you (assuming you're innocent)

More depth on the "false allegations"

'Why don't you read your own article?2-10% claims are flat our false claims. It also states that is number doesn't include cases where the statements are inconsistent or unreliable. If you add those in(your article doesn't even give a number for them conveniently) the false allegations would be much, much higher.

It doesn’t say that at all, lol. It says that those cases shouldn’t be counted in false reporting according to FBI guidelines, but that many police departments don’t follow those guidelines and mistakenly DO include those cases, making the false reporting numbers higher than they should be.

Now you are making up more things. Do read your own article again. Try comprehension this time. Just because you want it to be true doesn't mean it is.

Disagree with the bolded. The report mentions unsubstantiated reports (which I believe the Ford one would fall into given the lack of details and witnesses though it could also be a false report). You are correct they are not included but they are not considered "false". The Baseless designation doesn't apply her but it also adds to the calculation.

The Slate article addresses all this and points out why the fixation on the 2 - 10% claim is quite misleading as a justification to "always believe the woman"

The times where “the accuser is just making it up” are extremely rare, and yet it gets thrown out there every time there is an accusation (even when there are 13 of them, as with Cosby).

If you read the article and look at what Ford has offered so far it would likely fall in the "unfounded" category.

The false allegation stats apply to a subset of allegations that pass the bar of 1) being assault and 2) having sufficient evidence to merit criminal investigation.

So, are you a conservative Mr. Spock?

You couldn’t pay me enough to wear a pink puss hat , I don’t cry , wail or become unstable after an election , I don’t feed off of tweets or fb and I’ve never felt the need for a safe space to hide from “ bad words “ ... so yeah I have conservative values .

Again the report you posted suggests otherwise. The important caveat is the number of times when "the accuser is just making it up" AND there is sufficient detailed evidence to conduct an investigation AND it is prosecuted as a result, the number of is extremely rare.

It's like the FISA 99% granting stat. Sounds like they approve everything but if you look into it the bar to get to FISA is very high so the number of things where FISA might be sought vs granted shows a different story.

Let me guess you saw that picture of the person crying and saw a picture of a Puss hat, put two and two together and came up with that response?

This is your safe place is the irony.

I saw a bunch of cuck men wearing them in Washington , and I’ve watched 100s of video of liberals losing their minds in public because the world was coming to an end . I listened to a two people I know that were liberals proclaim that they were useless for two days after the election from crying and sobbing . I’m positive I’m not one . How about you ?

Uh, ok. I don’t think anyone has been saying that they have the votes as of this moment. Everyone knows that Collins, Murkowski, Flake, and Corker are the four key votes. At this time, it only looks like Corker is close to a sure thing. However, if Kavanaugh handles himself well on Thursday, he’ll likely be confirmed.
