He had almost 4 entire seasons as the starter (45 games.) His production was serviceable. If you compare him to the names above him and below him on the list, it's laughable.
#1: Travis Henry. 33 games as a starter, 3,078 yards, 5.5 avg.
#2: Arian Foster. 47 games as a starter, 2,964 yards, 4.6 avg.
#3: James Stewart. 44 games as a starter, 2,890 yards, 5.4 avg.
#4: Johnnie Jones. 33 games as a starter, 2,852 yards, 5.5 avg.
#5: Jamal Lewis. 27 games as a starter, 2,677 yards, 5.5 avg.
#6: Jalen Hurd. 45 games as a starter, 2,638 yards, 4.5 avg. (And got worse every year since his freshman year.)
Second, jesus h christ do I need to fact check you? The vols in 2016 were 5-3 with Hurd on the team. They were 4-1 without him. Jaysus.
