Just looking through the Fire Pruitt....

You know what I think is stupid? Losing to Georgia State.
It was a bad look I agree, but the fact that he's turning this thing around is what proves he can coach! He's got 65 healthy scholarship players left a QB with a broken hand and average with both hands, and about to go 5-3 in the SEC. If you can't see that I can't help you. SMH

We have 63 scholarship players that are available to play. Pruitt was left in the worst position possible by Lyle's dumpster fire. We are so far behind filling out a roster and yet the team is improving greatly. Pruitt is the right guy and I have thought that since he was named our HC. To be honest, I think he is ahead of schedule with developing some of these younger players. Pruitt has also won games against every SEC West team he has faced not named Alabama.

We'd be lying if we didn't all have a moment or two or he is in over his head after the Georgia State and Morman loss.

It’s the typical “I want to feel superior to other fans” post.

Give it a rest. I’m not ready to fire anyone nor lionize them. Pruitt and staff have made some good moves after their opening two-week fiasco, and should be lauded. But much like another poster, I’m going to give everyone a break for anything posted after the GA State and BYU poop-shows.

But if you want to consider yourself smarter, more ‘reasonable’ or whatever, knock yourself out.

Glad we won, glad we have a good shot at a bowl. Hoping for the best in the future.

We looked like crap today and we still aint beat anybody worth bragging about. I havent called for him to be fired but hes gotta a helluva lot to prove before he gets a free pass

No sec coach gets a pass, and after the first 2 games how many did you think they would win? They have came a long way, I don't care who they are playing.

We are improving, i will gladly admit that. But for people to act like pruitt is the next Neyland is ridiculous.

Not sure that's what most people are doing I think most just understand it's going to take awhile to rebuild and firing coaches every 2 years won't help. I don't know how far Pruitt can go and I don't defend the Ga St or BYU games but I've always thought 3 years and let's judge him then.

We beat Kentucky. It's what we do. I'll say what I say after every win this year, we have improved greatly because we started so badly. We shouldn't have had to improve that much and even with that improvement we barely beat a team we own who can't throw the football. People can still rightly point to GSU and BYU as major coaching blunders in the grand scheme of things and also acknowledge that things have gotten better. If we can get to 7-5 that's probably only 1 less win and 1 more loss than we should have had this year, though with how the SEC East has been a wreck and we got a horrid MSU from the West, 9 wins probably should have happened this year.

If you can't see we were staring 1-11 in the face after GSU and byu, I can't help you. Sure Pruitt gets credit for turning this around. But no one should be harrassed for questioning his coaching after the first 3 games.

Great to get Sec wins, but losing to GA state as a 25 or favorite will get you some coach firing talk

Not from rational fans... only those wanting to justify their world class analysis.... meshing various levels of inexperience to get the best team on the field can have crazy results, but the only way to get where you need to be.

Then all the wins are on the players.
Point is, Pruitt had them in position to beat GAST and BYU. The defense played on skates against GaSt. And as close as the BYU game was. We had them beat if Taylor didn't fall down allowing the wr to get in fg range for OT. The players are executing now. They wasn't earlier on
