That's speculative. Taylor was drafted in the 2nd round so the NFL disagrees with your opinion about him being one of the top CFB CB's.
I agree with you on Banks, I have little faith in him I go back to the Ole Miss game and them running the same play again and again with Matt Corral running up the middle for 200 yards rushing then Kentucky shredding us and Purdue in bowl game jusf alot of the same plays over and over getting big chunks of yardage down the field and Banks made zero adjustments.Depth will help but I just don't trust what Banks did last year. If a fairly average fan can sit at home and know what the opponent is going to do then you would hope your DC would too.
You can't stop the opponent in everything they try to do... but there comes a point when you just try to make them do something different. When an opponent beats you over and over... one game into the next... with the same plays and types of plays- that has to fall on your DC.
“Chaos”? lol, there was no chaos happened that night.
Fans got upset over a ridiculous call and the propaganda media blew it out of proportion.
There are always options. In particular, UT had a strength that directly translates to an "option". UT was 8th in TFL's. UT was 101st in 3rd down conversions allowed.Sort of shooting the QB with a Glock, we were sort of short on options (and we ain’t Miami)
He has to change. IMO it has to be more than just more depth and talent.I agree with you on Banks, I have little faith in him I go back to the Ole Miss game and them running the same play again and again with Matt Corral running up the middle for 200 yards rushing then Kentucky shredding us and Purdue in bowl game jusf alot of the same plays over and over getting big chunks of yardage down the field and Banks made zero adjustments.
Exactly. No reason to not bring more pressure on 3rd down. As bad as we were on 3rd down, we have nothing to lose. Surely the coaches will figure that out!!Theo Jackson would have started for most SEC teams.
IMHO, the breakdowns especially on 3rd down were more scheme and coaching than talent. Not that more talent and depth aren't needed... but there were some good players. Too good to be that bad on 3rd down.
UT cannot play "soft". They need to be pressure 100% of the time.
I believe he does but couldn't do anything to fix it last year. They have recruited well on defense and gotten several portal guys. We had no depth last year but should be better this seasonHeupel is the smartest and best coach we have had since Lane. He is a offensive mastermind I just wish he cared more about the defensive side of the ball.
He doesn’t at all. He hopes the other team scores every time. We weren’t in the top 5 in the country in negative yardage plays for the season. Ohhh wait we were. God you’re such a troll.
Speaking of weight anybody know a good diet to try and lose some weight. I’m 6’1 and 273 and would like to drop 30lbs. I have a beer gut that I just can’t get rid of.
Even worse yesterday for Saban, I stopped counting “Uh” and “Umm” five minutes in. I know they pay him to win, and he does, a lot. He is extremely confident in a lot of areas, and even when he’s passionate about and answer to a question but, dang! Invest a little bit of time in public speaking technique. Not as bad as the stupid "aight's" from Saban and Cornbread
Cherry picked a stat to bolster your argument. Dude, we sucked on D and the evidence for this is overwhelming. JH just doesn’t care, and as long as we win I don’t either. Stop being so defensive and look at things with a slight degree of objectivity once in a while
. According to my last Dr. Checkup In April I was pre diabetes and my sugar was up slighty. If you have type II diabetes issues find an endocrinologist and check out Ozempic.... it has been magic for me. I am a little taller and weighed a few more lbs a year ago and now am down to to 222 as an average daily weight. This is after years of issues. It took adherence to intermittent fasting to make it work, but I have not been a workout warrior, just daily old retired guy living. Totally off my daily injectable Lantus shots and another sugar pill Actos and my daily sugars are to die for now.... Still taking the go to generic Metformin pill. Problematic snoring is gone, and high blood pressure issues are under control too. If you have no sugar issues I don't have a clue.
All verbs were properly conjugated, all sentences were complete with a subject and predicate. Uhs and umms were minimal. Threw in enough coach-speak to get past dumb questions, but spoke frankly at times as well.
Heck, compared to Slingblade McGump, the simple ability to conjugate verbs is a step in the right direction.
In short, Heupel dun reel gud!! (tried to resist........)
Nashville Preds fans like to toss Catfish on the ice. Just sayinAnd they will probably blow Hyps golf ball comment out of proportion too. I think the mustard bottle thing is great, lots of amusing things coming from that. A mustard bottle on the field could end up being a staple for home games. Just have to start using orange mustard, if that exists.
